SOLUTION: Since a detection signal from detection parts 8a to 8d' is propagated to a light receiving circuit 5 through an optical fiber cable 4, the power source is unnecessitated. Since plural signal wires are not used but only one cable 4 is required through many detection parts are connected to the cable 4, constitution is simplified. Furthermore, since the cable 4 is used for connecting a light emitting circuit 2 and the circuit 5 influence from electromagnetic noise is not received and reliability is imporved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate a harmful effect due to the manufacturing error of a tank and heat expansion at the time of heating, by providing plural drive transmission mechanisms and drive sources which are interlocked in relation to an annular basket rotatably arranged in an annular tank along its circumferential track and at an equal distance. CONSTITUTION:An annular basket 30 can be rotated in a tank main body 20 by interlocking drive sources 38, and is arranged to supply a paper-covered insulated cable 35 that has been wound. A plurality of drive transmission mechanisms 36 and drive sources 38 which are interlocked with the annular basket 30 along its circumferential track and at an equal distance, are contained. Accordingly, drive force for the basket 30 is equally distributed around the rotary shaft of itself, and with this, play at each portion is equally distributed, and play of each portion deformation variation or the like due to manufacturing size deviation and expansion at heating is canceled. As a result, a harmful effect due to the manufacturing error of a tank and the heat expansion of the tank at heating can be eliminated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To monitor the tensile strength at the edge of a cable in laying directly and to record it, by using wires having integral optical fibres. CONSTITUTION:To an edge of a cable 20 a cable extension fitting 21 is connected, to which is then connected a load cell 10. A wire 1 is connected to an O/E(optical/electric) converter 31 and a memory 32 through a winch capstan 30. By winding the traction cable 1 with a winch capstan 30, the cable 20 is drawn and laid, when the tensile strength loaded to the cable 20 is directly detected by a strain guage 5 of the load cell 10 generating the detected current corresponding to the degree of detection. The detected current is converted into an optical signal with ah E/O converter 4, which is transmitted through optical fibres 3 and then again converted into an electric signal with the O/E converter 31 and recorded in a memory 32. The recorded tensile strength is the very tensile strength itself at the edge of the cable 20, with which the cable itself is accurately monitored to perform cable laying.

摘要： PURPOSE:To locate a faulty section by observing the peculiar variation of current induced in an overhead earth wire at a plurality of points along a transmission line and then inspecting the observed waveform. CONSTITUTION:A current transformer 6 picks up the current flowing through an overhead earth wire 2 constantly at each observing point. Output from the current transformer 6 is digitized by an optical data multiplex transmitter 7 at a predetermined sampling time and transmitted over an optical fiber cable 4 to an evaluating section 5. The detected data is stored sequentially, while being updated, in a waveform memory 11 at the evaluating section 5 up to a predetermined number of samples corresponding to several cycles of commercial frequency. A CPU 8 compares every detection data with a preset trigger level being set by a trigger setting switch 10. A trigger is generated when the detection data is higher then a positive trigger level or lower than a negative trigger level. Thereafter, the memory 11 stores the waveform data for several preceding and following cycles.
