    • PURPOSE:To prevent tailings from developing on an extrusion-molded article by a method wherein ultrasonic or high frequency vibration is respectively given to a mouthpiece which comes into contact with the outer surface of the molded article and a core piece which comes into contact with the inner surface of the molded article. CONSTITUTION:By energizing the piezoelectric element or magnetostrictive element of vibrators 3 and 4 with oscillators 1 and 2, ultrasonic or high frequency vibration is generated. The vibration of the vibrator 3 is given through its vibration transmitter to a core piece 5 and that of the vibrator 4 is given through its vibration transmitter to a mouthpiece 6. These vibrations are supersonic or high frequency vibration. Due to the vibration of the core piece 5, the generation of tailings in and their adhesion to the inner surface of material flow path 7 is prevented from occurring. Similarly, due to the vibration of the mouthpiece 6, the generation of tailings on and their adhesion to the outer surface of the material flow path 7 is prevented from occurring. Further, the extrusion pressure of highly viscous material (of green rubber, synthetic resin or the like), which passes through the material flow path 7, becomes lower as compared with the one under the condition that no vibration is given to the core piece and the mouthpiece, resulting in facilitating molding work.
