摘要： PURPOSE: To obtain an operation device which surely operates a valve provided on the way of an exhaust pipe. CONSTITUTION: A spring 23 is arranged between a first drum which is rotated by tensile force of a throttle cable 8 and a second drum which is connected to a valve cable 12 for adjusting a valve opening. The first drum is energized in a direction opposite to a tensile and rotational direction of the throttle cable by means of the spring 23, while the second drum is energized in the opposite direction thereto. When the first drum is rotated, thus the second drum is followed. A cam surface c1 of a semi-circular large diameter cam 18b of the first drum abuts against a cam surface d1 of a cam part 19b of the second drum for forcible rotation.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by providing a bearing bush with a sealing function to dispense with an expensive sealing member in an exhaust emission control valve. SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control valve is provided with a valve housing 56 and a valve element 57 rotatably stored in the valve housing 56, and a transmission member 67 is fitted to the outer end of a valve shaft 62 of the valve element 57 projected outside the valve housing 56. In the exhaust emission control valve, a bearing bush 60 rotatably supporting the outer peripheral surface of the valve shaft 62 at the inner peripheral surface and the end face of the valve element 57 at the end face is mounted in the valve housing 56, and the valve element 57 is energized by load of a thrust spring 83 so that the opposite end faces of the bearing bush 60 and the valve element 57 are put in the mutually press-contacting sealed state.

SOLUTION: This exhaust control valve comprises a valve housing 56 and the valve element 57 rotatably stored in the valve housing 56, controlling exhaust flow in cooperation with the valve housing 56. A transmission member 67 is mounted at one end of valve shafts 61 and 62 rotatably journalled to bearing bushes 59 and 60 of the valve element 57. The valve element 57 is cylindrically formed concentric with the axial line of the valve shafts 61 and 62, and integrally cast with the valve shafts 61 and 62.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the detachment of a side cover from affecting the appearance of a body by installing the side cover extendedly in longitudinal direction and at approximately the same width on the side of a main frame, and attaching it detachably to another component adjacent to a body cover. 摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent heat from being confined inside a protector by fitting the protector covering the drive shaft end parts of an exhaust throttle valve which projects from an exhaust pipe member so as to have a gap against the exhaust pipe member. CONSTITUTION:The valve rotary shaft 13c of an exhaust throttle valve 13 is horizontally penetrated through a cylindrical valve box 13d, and the left shaft end part 13f of the valve rotary shaft 13c is covered with a left protector 35. A valve rotary shaft 13e exposed from the valve box 13d is fitted with a pulley 13g, and the shaft together with the pulley 13g are covered with a right protector 34. The right protector 34 is fitted to a tongue piece 34c fitted to the valve box 13d as an exhaust pipe member through a spacer 34d of proper thickness, so as to form an air intake gap. An air intake hole 35a is on the lower part of the left protector 35 and an air release hole 35b is on the upper part of it, respectively opened. Hereby, open air can be passed through the inside of the protectors 34, 35, so as to keep the protectors 34, 35 at low temperature.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reduce exhaust sound with simple structure by providing partitioning member for partitioning an inside of a communicating pipe into at least two exhaust passages and disposing valve mechanism for changing a passage area of one of the exhaust passages. SOLUTION: A muffler 42 of an engine is partitioned into first to third expansion chambers 56 to 58. The first expansion chamber 56 and the third expansion chamber 58 are connected to each other by an exhaust inlet pipe 61, the third expansion chamber 58 and the second expansion chamber 57 are connected to each other by a connecting pipe 62, and the second expansion chamber 57 is released to outside by a communicating pipe 63. In this case, a partitioning member 77 for partitioning an exhaust side of the communicating pipe 63 into two exhaust passages 75, 76 are provided to the communicating pipe 63, and a valve mechanism 64 is provided to the exhaust passage 75. At a low engine speed, the valve mechanism 64 is closed to block the first exhaust passage 75. Exhaust gas is discharged from the second exhaust passage 76 to outside, thereby reducing exhaust noise. At a high engine speed, the valve mechanism 64 is opened thereby enabling the exhaust gas to be discharged easily.
