    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable installation of a battery, a motor and a decelerator rationally along with a higher space efficiency by providing a part with a shape of U roughly as viewed from a side at the rear part of a body frame to place a rear wheel driving mechanism in a space therein. SOLUTION: A frame 11 is provided with right and left parts 12 extended longitudinally and a part 16 with a shape of U roughly opened forward as viewed from a side is arranged successively at the rear part of the frame. The upper end part of the U-shaped part 16 is extended forward by a specified length to be parallel with a rear part 12a thereof to form a seat support part 17. A front part 21 and a rear part 22 of a battery holder made up of an angle material are mounted at a part covered with a rear cover at an intermediate part of the right and left parts 12. This enables installation of a battery, a motor for driving rear wheels and a decelerator rationally with a higher space efficiency utilizing a space within a U-shaped space S of the Ushaped part 16 at the rear part of the body frame. This also allows installation of a seat utilizing the top surface of the support part 17 composing the top part of the U-shaped part 16.

    • PURPOSE:To remote a reduction in the number of part items and the lightweightiness of a body cover as well as to facilitate a job for repairs by dividing this body cover into both front and rear parts, and resinifying a steering column, a step and a rear fender integrally in the rear cover as one body. CONSTITUTION:In this service car 1, front wheels 3 are attached to the front of a body frame 2 and rear wheels 5 and the driving part to the rear part, respectively, and a steering column 15 is connected to the rear of a bonnet 13. A body cover 60 is divided into a front cover 61 and a rear cover 62 equivalent to this bonnet 13, and the steering column 15, a step 11, a rear fender 17, a meat mounting surface 64 and an article storage recess 20 are resinified integrally in this rear cover 62 as one body. Accordingly, the number of part items is reduced, therefore the body cover 60 comes to be proper size, namely, its forming becomes facilitated and, what is more, this cover 60 is made lighter in weight. In addition, with this body cover divided into two parts, it is unnecessary to remove the rear cover 62 in time of inspecting an engine or the like, so checking and repairing both become facilitated in this way.

    • PURPOSE:To easily perform maintenance operation without demounting the whole of a cover, by removably mounting a rear hood forming part of the cover at a rear sheet portion thereof in such a manner as to cover at least a prime mover from above. CONSTITUTION:A rear hood 71 is removably mounted to a rear portion of a rear cover 55. Specifically, the rear hood 72 comprises a rear-cover back half portion 72 of which an upper portion and side portions are continuous, and a lid portion 73 which is continuous to a front of the rear-cover back half portion 72 and covers an air intake port 62 from above, the two 72 and 73 being integrally formed at the back of the rear cover 55. Then, the lid portion 73 of the rear hood is put over the air intake port 62 in the upper surface of the rear cover 55, and a right side engaging pawl 81 at a front edge of the lid portion 73 is caused to abut on an inner side face of a right/front flange portion 64a around the air intake port 62. On the other hand, a left side engaging pawl 81 is inserted into an engaging hole 67 formed in a reinforcing piece 66 located at an inner/front portion of an extended portion 63 of the air intake port. As a result, the rear hood 71 can be removably mounted, by a recess/ projection engagement, to the rear cover 55.
