    • PURPOSE:To integrate a thrust generating unit with a bearing unit and reduce the component of vibration upon movement by a method wherein a static pressure gas bearing is formed by a plurality of axial recesses, provided on the outer peripheral surface of a center yoke, and axial sleeves opposed to the recesses provided on a movable member. CONSTITUTION:A gap is provided between a sleeve 17 and the outer peripheral surface of a center yoke 2 and the sleeve 17 is arranged movably into the axial direction under non-contacting condition. A coil 7 is wound around the sleeve 17 to form a movable member 5. A plurality of recesses 18 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the center yoke 2. When an air supplying hole 19 is connected to a compressed gas supplying source (not shown in a diagram), compressed gas is blown through the air supplying holes 20 into the recesses 18 opposed to the sleeves 17 whereby the sleeve 17 is levitated under non-contacting condition with the center yoke 2 and a static pressure gas bearing may be formed. When the coil 7 is energized with currents of normal and reverse directions under this condition, the movable member 5 may be moved to lateal directions or in axial directions thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce excessive load, extend tool life, and enable stable processing in the case of carving a flat work to be processed by having cavity in the center part of a bottom blade and giving a cutting function to the side face of the inside of the cavity. CONSTITUTION:Cavity 1 is positioned in the center part of a bottom blade 3 and an internal circumference blade 2 connecting to the bottom blade 3 is formed on the side face of the inside of the cavity 1. The bottom blade 3 and an outer circumference blade 4 have symmetric shapes. The appropriate intermediate/low angle 8 of the bottom blade is approximately 0-1 deg.. Cavity depth 7 is preferable to be set to approximately 1-2mm in the case of an end mill having the outside diameter 5 of approximately 10mm or less and approximately 2-3mm, in the case of an end mill the diameter of approximately 10-20mm. The inside diameter 6 of the internal circumference blade 2 is preferable to be set from approximately 0.1 time to 0.8 time of the outside diameter 5 and more preferable, approximately from 0.4-0.7 time of the outside diameter 5.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure that a vacuum pumping time is shortened and stabilized by providing a system to supply a dry air to a vacuum chamber through a tank capable of storing a fixed amount of dry air constantly and a means for preventing an atmospheric air from becoming entrained into the vacuum chamber during the opening of a door for operation. CONSTITUTION:A dry air sent from a dry air source is stored in an air tank 3 through an air tank supply pipe 2, and then is supplied to a vacuum chamber 5 by a predetermined amount through a pipe for supply to a vacuum chamber 5 by control of a solenoid valve. The air used contains a low percentage of moisture so that the amount of moisture attaching to the vacuum chamber 5 is extremely small. Therefore, the effect of minimizing a vacuum pumping time is obtained through a pipe for vacuum pumping 11. In addition, the dry air sent from a dry air source is supplied to the front of a door for operation 7 through a pipe for air shower 6 to form a dry air shower 12 and thus the strainment of an atmospheric air into the vacuum chamber 5 is prevented.
