    • PURPOSE:To provide an efficient and high-precise fixe scroll which is constituted to eliminate high-precise machining of a functionally unnecessary part and to provide a machining method thereof. CONSTITUTION:A machining method for a fixed scroll comprises a first process wherein a spiral lap 1d is finished in such a state to grasp a rough machining part, such as the outer surface 1f and the flange surface 1g of a fixed scroll 1; a second process wherein a grinding work is applied on the outer peripheral surface la, the end plate surface lb, and the addendum surface 1c of the fixed scroll in such a state to grasp the scroll by means of a chuck and the end plate surface 1b is formed in such a state to be recessed from the outer peripheral surface 1a and the addendum surface 1c and a polishing work is applied on the outer peripheral surface 1a, the end plate surface 1b, and the addendum surface 1c after the second process; and a third process wherein a polishing work is then finished in such a state that the grinding grain mark of the polishing work remains on the end plate surface 1b. In the polishing method, the outer peripheral surface 1a, the end plate surface 1b, and the addendum surface 1c are brought into contact with a rotating disc-form grinding wheel and a pressure and polishing are applied by a pressure plate 7 of universal coupling structure from a direction opposite to that of the end plate surface 1b as the fixed scroll 1 is rotated and oscillated.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a horizontal compressure capable of freely setting the angle of the bending direction of a lubricating shaft at the time of assembling, improving workability, inexpensive, and having high reliability with a simple means and to provide a bearing structure capable of sufficiently lubricating the spherical bearing section of an auxiliary bearing. CONSTITUTION:A motor 10 and a compression mechanism section 2 connected to the motor 10 via a crank shaft 6 are stored in a sealed case 1 with the shaft center L kept in the horizontal direction, an auxiliary bearing 9 is provided at the opposite position to a main bearing 8 across the motor 10, and a lubricating pipe 21 is fixed to the auxiliary bearing 9 via a lubricating cap 20 in this horizontal compressor. A screw section for fastening the housing 17 of the auxiliary bearing 9 is formed on the cylindrical outer periphery of the lubricating cap 20. The lubricating pipe 21 is connected so that its shaft center coincides with the shaft center of the cylinder bottom section of the lubricating cap 20, the lubricating cap 20 is fastened to the bearing housing 17, the lubricating pipe 21 is bent nearly in the vertical direction, and the opened end is dipped in an oil sump.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of spatter due to the welding into a compressing mechanism by forming each overlap part of a case and a cover material, which form a sealed container, with a shape in which they are elastically engaged with each other, and tightly contacting them to form a spatter sealing part. CONSTITUTION:In a closed type motor-driven compressor, a compressing mechanism and an electric motor are housed inside of a sealed container. This sealed container is formed by welding a cylindrical case 5 and a cover material 6, which are formed by plastically forming a steel plate. In this case, a spatter sealing part is formed in an overlap part 7 of the case 5 and the cover material 6. Namely, a projection 6b is formed over the whole circumference of the outer diameter 6a of the cover material 6, and the cover material 6 is pressed into the inner diameter 5a of the case 5, and the end surface 5b of the case 5 and the cover material 6 in the overlap part 7 are welded. The case 5 and the projection 6b are thereby stuck to seal the spatter 8 generated by the welding in a clearance formed by the projection 6a and the welding part 9.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of spatter generated by welding by interposing the brazing filler material having a melting point lower than that of steel plate in a clearance formed at an overlap part of a cylindrical case and a cover material, which are formed of a steel plate, and fusing it to form a sealed container. CONSTITUTION:In a closed type motor-driven compressor 1, a compressing mechanism 2 and a motor 3 are respectively housed inside of a sealed container 1. In this case, brazing filler material having a melting point lower than that of steel plate is interposed in a clearance formed at an overlap part 7 of a cylindrical case 5 and a cover material 6, which are formed by plastically molding steel plate, to form a sealed container 1. The sealed container 1 is previously heated from outside to fuse the brazing filler material, and the fused brazing filler material intrudes a clearance of the overlap part 7 to weld the case 5 and the cover material 6. Spatter 9 to be generated by electric welding is thereby sealed between the brazing filler material and the welding part to prevent the intrusion of the spatter 9 into the compressing mechanism 2.
