    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift catalyst, a gas purification method and gas purification equipment which can suppress energy loss, reduce initial cost and rationalize a system in a coal gasification plant.SOLUTION: The shift catalyst, which promotes a shift reaction to react CO in HS-containing gas with HO for conversion into COand H, contains at least Mo and Ni. Alternatively, the shift catalyst, which promotes a shift reaction to react CO in HS-containing gas with HO for conversion into COand H, contains at least Mo and a metal element having a Pauling's electronegativity of 1.8-2.0. In addition, the shift catalyst preferably contains at least one inorganic oxide selected from among AlO, TiOand ZrO.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel in which brightness is improved at a viewing and listening position of the panel center front face.
      SOLUTION: In the plasma display panel in which a front face substrate and a rear face substrate wherein a barrier rib to partition a discharge space into a discharge cell arrangement is formed and a phosphor layer is installed in a discharge space corresponding to a discharge cell are sealed via the discharge space, a phosphor is formed so that intensity of light to emit light becomes maximum in a direction toward the panel center front, an output direction of light emission from the discharge cell is made to be concentrated in the panel center direction, light diffused in a direction away from the viewing and listening position more than in the prior art is reduced, and brightness at the viewing position of the panel center front is improved.

      SOLUTION: The plasma display device includes: a PDP (plasma display panel) 1, having a front face (first face) 2a disposed on the display-face side, and a rear face (second face) 3b located opposite the front face; a chassis member 21, having a front face (third face) 21a opposite the rear face 3b of the PDP 1 and supporting the PDP 1; and a plurality of double-sided adhesive members 22, each having a front face (fourth face) 22a jointed to the rear face 3b of the PDP 1 and a rear face (fifth face) 22b jointed to the front face 21a of the chassis member 21 and being used for fixing the PDP 1 and chassis member 21 together. The plurality of double-sided adhesive members 22 are disposed separately. The front face 21a of the chassis member 21 has exposure portions, which are exposed in empty spaces between the plurality of separate double-sided adhesive members 22, and the color tone of the front face 22a of the double-sided adhesive member 22 and the color tones of the exposure portions of the front face 21a of the chassis member 21 are of identical color tone system.
