摘要： PURPOSE:To set date at an arbitrary position and to photograph the date without superimposing on an object by providing a means which varies the display position of the data of a date display device for a video camera. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal synchronizing signal (d) is detected from a video signal (a) at a horizontal synchronizing signal detection circuit 10, and a vertical synchronizing signal (e) at a vertical synchronizing signal detection circuit 11, respectively, and they are inputted to a timing control circuit 3. The circuit 3 can vary the timing of the signals (d), (e) separately, and the change of the display position can be performed by varying the timing of the signal (d) when it is desired to vary in a right or left direction, and varying that of the signal (e) when it is desired to vary in an up or down direction. Timing quantity can be controlled by a timing control switch 4, and an operator performs an operation while observing the date position of a monitor. A date generation circuit 5 inputting the synchronizing signal generates the date set by a date setting switch 6 at a constant timing for the synchronizing signal, and outputs it as a date signal (b).

The amplifiers 3, 4 amplify the sounds the microphones 1, 2 collect in a way that their phase characteristics are opposite to each other, and output them to an adder 8. The adder 8 adds properly the sound amplified by the amplifier 3 and the sound amplified by the amplifier 4, and eliminates the excessive sound having passed through the microphone 1 and the amplifier 3 from the original sound having passed through the microphone 2 and the amplifier 4. A block 5 executes recording processing, and at the time of reproduction, the sound generated from the sound source 6 of the subject and the sound generated from the sound source of the cameraman can be clearly heard.

The circuit 3 automatically sets such position of the date based on information from the object position discriminating circuit 2 that the date does not overlap on the object, and the information is set to a date generating circuit 4. The circuit 4 sends a date signal at this position to a date adding circuit 5, and the date signal is added to the video signal to display the date at the position other than the object. As the result, satisfactory photographing is performed without overlap of the date on the object during photographing of the video camera.

CONSTITUTION:When a dial 1 is turned, its direction of rotation is detected by using a signal 7 and transmitted to a motor drive circuit 4 and the direction of rotation of a motor is decided. When the dial 1 is turned, a pulse signal corresponding to a signal 8 is output and reshaped to a signal 9 by a waveformshaping circuit 2. The frequency of the signal 9 is changed by the turning speed of the dial 1. However, when an input average voltage to the drive circuit 4 is changed, the turning speed of the motor 5 is changed and a magnetic medium can be moved by a required amount. Thereby, the beginning of a desired part can be detected easily while a television or a monitor is being used without performing a complicated control operation.

CONSTITUTION:A character recognition sensor 3 analyzes entered channel information and program title information respectively, and recognizes the information separately for each channel and program title. Setting channel data and recognized program title data are outputted from the sensor 3 to a timer setting device 4, and stored therein. In the device 4, the data is displayed on an LCD for content recognition, and the content of the data is confirmed. If there is any error in the displayed content, an error button 13 is pressed and the stored setting channel data and set program data are erased. When a data transmission button 12 is pressed, data for week and date setting and channel setting stored in the memory of the device 4, is transmitted to the VTR 6. Timer recording is set and completed, acceding the aforesaid data entered in the VTR.
