    • PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement of reliability of a gas turbine by extending life of a transition piece, by a method wherein a combustor is made to be supported by installing a bracket provided with a plurality of slits on a transition piece part of a burner of the gas turbine. CONSTITUTION:The combustor of a gas turbine is connected by a transition piece 3a with a nozzle of a gas turbine inlet. A support 25 is formed by welding a bracket 23 and providing a plurality of slits 24 on the external surface of the transition piece body 3a. Holes 26 for alleviation in concentration of stress are provided on ends of the slits 24. Three way 27, 28 and 29 thermal extensions can be absorbed through bending of supports 25, 25a and 25b of the bracket 23 and shearing force acting upon a welded part 30 can be alleviated. The life of the transition piece is improved and an improvement of reliability on the gas turbine is realized.

    • PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the consumption of water at the time of a pressure test and to greatly reduce the man-hours for operation by charging a water amount exclusion member which substitutes for the volume of a part of injection water and has smaller specific gravity than water in a pressure container. CONSTITUTION:Plural spherical bodies 23 for gas charging are formed in the pressure container while linked with one another by communicating pipes 25, which are connected to a gas cylinder 7. When the pressure test is taken, the water amount exclusion member 2 is charged in the pressure container 1 and then the communicating pipes 25 and sealed from the pressure container 1 with water and connected to the gas cylinder 7 through a gas pressure origin valve 9, which is opened until the bodies 23 for gas charging swell as specified to apply pressure with the gas of the gas cylinder 7. In this case, the water amount exclusion member 2 has no variation in volume because of pressure proof structure, and water for hydraulic pressure can be reduce greatly to reduce and shorten the operation man-hours and time for water filling and water discharging and also facilitate the operation, thereby reducing the cost.
