摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such damage as stress corrosion cracking by providing a structure where the jet containing cavitation bubbles from a nozzle is collided against a flat collision surface of a baffle body to change the direction of the jet and hit it with the surface of an internal structural member. SOLUTION: A nozzle 4 of an ascending and descending axis 6 is inserted parallel to an outer face of a shroud 23 by using an auxiliary hoist of a refueling machine. A jet 3 containing cavitation bubbles 2a from the nozzle 4 is injected downward and is collided against a flat surface of a baffle 5a near a vertical weld 17. The jet 3 collides with the vertical weld 17 as a collision jet 9a. On this occasion, it is preferable that the distance L between the tip of the nozzle 4 and the collision surface of the baffle 5a is 50 or less times as long as the injection aperture of the nozzle. Minute cavitation bubbles 2a that did not collapse when they collided with the baffle body 5a grow in a collision jet 9a and collapse by high pressure in the vertical weld 17, whereby tensile residual stress of the vertical weld 17 can be reduced effectively. It is preferable that the angle α between the central axis 3a of the injection aperture of the nozzle 4 and the collision surface 50 of the baffle body 5a is 60 deg. or more.

SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a guide rail, a turn table, a control panel 18, a clad recovery device 41, spray nozzle moving devices 124 and 124c and a spray water supply device 125. The guide rail, the turn table and time spray nozzle movers 124 and 124c are integrated on the turntable and are lowered to an upper flange. The spray nozzle is continuously moved around a corer shroud by the turning of the turntable to shorten the time required for preventive maintenance. The vertical movement of an elevator driven by a motor and the turning of the turn table allows time spray nozzle to sprays a jet of a water flow, moving in a zigzag near a weld over the full perimeter of it in the circumferential direction.

Accordingly, it is possible to jet in the proper jetting distance region in a state where the nozzle 4 is vertically directed in the axial direction of ICM.HSG.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently improve the residual stress of a narrowed weld by installing a second arm to the tip of a first arm, rotating it or moving it radially and vertically, and injecting cavitation bubbles through an injection nozzle on the tip of the second arm. SOLUTION: The intermediate drum 21 of a rotating body is connected to the lower tip of a fixed structure installed to a CRD guide pipe in the lower part of a reactor core support plate. A vertically movable core 22 is mounted on the intermediate drum 21, and the base of a first arm 24 is installed thereto. The arm 24 is made radially expansible and contractible, so that a second arm 28 having an injection nozzle 27 is drawn into the device by contracting the arm 24. The nozzle 27 is raised and lowered through the arms 24, 28 by the core 22. When the arm 28 is radially extended by the arm 24, and reaches near a shroud wall, the arm 28 is vertically inserted to a narrowed part by the core 22. Cavitation bubbles are injected and collided to a weld narrowed part between the shroud inner wall, and an upper lattice plate through the nozzle 27 at the tip.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce tensile residual stress by simple constitution by utilizing thermal shock strain. SOLUTION: By rapidly cooling a surface region whose temperature is raised by heat input of welding by jetting a coolant from a nozzle 11 to a region of the surface of a weld zone which is in the state of tensile stress, transient temperature difference is generated between the surface and a layer just under a surface layer. In this way, the tensile thermal shock stress is added on the surface layer, tensile strain is generated and also the surface layer is partially yielded. Next, by stopping cooling and raising the temperature, the thermal shock stress is eliminated. The surface of the weld zone is improved into a state where deformation is elastically recovered from the partially yield state and tensile stress is mitigated, or a compressive residual stress state.
