摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the potential for generating stress corrosion cracking by improving the residual tensile stress at the lower drum of core shroud in a reactor into residual compressive stress through the use of impact pressure produced upon collapse of cavitation bubbles. CONSTITUTION:The preventive maintenance apparatus 1 comprising an upper attachment 41, a lower attachment 44, a nozzle unit having a drive mechanism for an ejection nozzle 21, and an apparatus body is set in a hole 13 of a core supporting plate 12 for control rod guide pipe and at the head part of a CRD housing 43. Water having quality equivalent to that of reactor water is then fed from a pure water supply in a reactor building, a pure water production system, or a reactor water supply 24 to a high pressure pump 16 through a low pressure hose 23. The pressurized water is then introduced through a high pressure hose 17 to the maintenance apparatus 1 and ejected through the nozzle 21.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress radioactive contamination from water surface caused by bubbles accompanying work under reactor water in a reactor pressure vessel. SOLUTION: A preventive maintenance device 1 having a drive mechanism for up and down, rotation and swing of a spray nozzle is put into reactor water in a reactor pressure vessel and set in the head of CRD(control rod drive mechanism) housing and a hole for fuel support metal of a core support plate 14. Water pressurized with a high pressure pump 19 is sprayed out of a spray nozzle so that cavitation bubbles generated by the spraying of water are supplied on the surface of core internal structure. Owing to the energy at the moment the bubbles are destructed, the residual stress on the surface is improved in the direction of resolution. Part of the bubbles including radioactive contamination in the reactor goes up to the water surface. The bubbles are trapped and collected with an air collection cover 39, purified with a filter and exhausted to a duct 42 for ventilation and air-conditioning of the reactor building.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability and to suppress exposure by disassembling machines, e.g. upper lattice plate and core supporting board, subjected to radioactive contamination in the state of filling a reactor well fully with water and installing a shroud support leg and the like in the state of installing a shield in the core area without requiring any reactor water. CONSTITUTION:A reactor pressure vessel 1 and a steam drier 2 are disassembled by means of an overhead travelling crane and lowered down to the lower part of a pressure vessel flange and held in the reactor water. A reactor well is filled fully with water and a water separator 6, a shroud head 8, etc., are disassembled sequentially. The core spray sparger/piping 16 coupled with a shroud 15 and the like are then cut off by means of a remote operation underwater cutter and removed. It is then decontaminated by means of a decontaminator and the reactor water is drained. The structural members in the core thus disassembled are then replaced sequentially by new members. They are replaced by new shroud supports suspended and lowered down sequentially from above the core approaching to access the objective point using a gondola, for example.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide preventive maintenance method and apparatus for suppressing stress corrosion cracking of housing, and the like, at the bottom of a reactor pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:The preventive maintenance apparatus 1 equipped with a drive mechanism capable of freely moving up and down, turning, and swinging an ejection nozzle 24 is set at the head part of CRD housing 45 and in the hole 15 of a core supporting plate 14 for fuel supporting metal. Water pressurized by a high pressure pump is ejected through an ejection nozzle 24 to produce cavitation bubbles. The bubbles are fed to all parts to be protected where the bubbles are collapsed to generate energy for offsetting the residual tensile stress.

In addition, in a structure which supports the upper part of the core shroud 2, a steady-strain pin 13 which is attached to a shroud upper-part trunk 2a is inserted into, and positioned by, a steady-strain support 15 which is attached to a nuclear-reactor pressure container 1.

摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce exposure dose of workers and replace structure easily, reliably and in a short time by removing the radioactivated in-reactor structure in full water state of reactor well and placing new structure after draining the reactor water and placing shielding in the core region. CONSTITUTION: For reducing the exposure of workers, the reactor well is filled with reactor water in the reactor water state maintained at the flange lower end level and such core components as core shroud 16, core support plate 24, jet pump 30 etc., are removed by cutting with a remote control under-water cutting device and special tools. Then, the reactor water is drained out with decontamiming the vessel 1 inside using high pressure water and notched shieldings 43 or separated shieldings are placed in the range including the core region to prepare the atmosphere available of recovery work. By using a gondola 44 and approaching to the recovery location, remaining stress around each welding part is bettered with high pressure water in the marginal space, the surface is refurbished with new material with good corrosion resistivity and new core component is directly fixed in the same method as that for plant construction case.

By driving the winch 6 and the chain 40, the wire rope 5 is wound on the winding drum 41 to lift up. The pieces are freely moved on the water surface 12 by the propeller 8 of the transportation machine 1 and transported in water to a specific cask. To contain in the cask, the cut pieces 4 are lift down in the cask and the handling is released.

Cooling water in the reactor pressure vessel 1 is drained. A repair device 13 is inserted in the guide pipe 17 in the air state to send in the annulus part 8. By self-running the repair device 13 on the baffle plate 6, inspection and repair of members adjacent to the annulus part 8 are conducted.

SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a guide rail, a turn table, a control panel 18, a clad recovery device 41, spray nozzle moving devices 124 and 124c and a spray water supply device 125. The guide rail, the turn table and time spray nozzle movers 124 and 124c are integrated on the turntable and are lowered to an upper flange. The spray nozzle is continuously moved around a corer shroud by the turning of the turntable to shorten the time required for preventive maintenance. The vertical movement of an elevator driven by a motor and the turning of the turn table allows time spray nozzle to sprays a jet of a water flow, moving in a zigzag near a weld over the full perimeter of it in the circumferential direction.
