    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate stress concentration on teeth close to magnetic poles and deepen slots to increase field winding, by making the radius of the curved surface connecting the bottom face and wall face of the slot closest to the magnetic pole portion larger than the radius of the curved face connecting the bottom faces and wall faces of the other slots. SOLUTION: Slots 3 with field winding 2 inserted therein are formed on the circumference of a rotor 1 at equal intervals. Of these slots 3, one slot 8 of them closest to a magnetic pole portion 4 is different only in bottom shape from the other slots. Specifically, the corners 7 of the bottom of the slot, that is, the radius determining the shape of the arc connecting the bottom face and wall face of the slot is larger than that of the bottom of the other slots. Therefore, stress on the bottom of the slots where stress is most concentrated can be alleviated, and thus the depth of the slots 3 can be increased as far as the strength of a material constituting teeth 13 allows, so that the amount of field winding in the slots can be increased.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and disassembly at the normal temperature, and to obtain firm clamping at a low temperature by a method wherein the tangent of a taper angle is made larger than a friction coefficient between an FRP rod and metal fittings, at the normal temperature both the rod and the metal fittings are not fixed, the friction coefficient between both the rod and the metal fittings is made larger than the tangent of the taper angle at the low temperature and both the rod and the metal fittings are clamped by high clamping force. CONSTITUTION:Fitting tapered sections 6 and FRP tapered sections 7 having taper angles 5 deg. mutually are formed to an FRP rod I, a cryostat fitting 2 and a vacuum tank fitting 3. A PTFE lubricant 7 is atomized and applied to the fitting taper 6 and the FRP tapered section 7, a PTFE film is formed, frictional resistance is reduced and axial tension is applied to the FRP rod 1, and the cryostat fitting 2 and the vacuum tank fitting 3 are clamped. The displacement of the end sections of the FRP rod 1 is constrained by the bolts 6. When tensile force is lowered when both the fitting 2 and the fitting 3 are disassembled, frictional coefficients among the FRP rod l, the cryostat fitting 2 and the vacuum tank fitting 3 are made smaller than the tangent of the taper angles, thus mutually sliding both the fitting 2 and the fitting 3 in the tapered sections, then resulting in natural disassembly.
