摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble of a noise caused by a high rotating speed, when an engine output is increased in order to heat an exhaust emission device promptly. SOLUTION: This vehicular control device comprises an internal combustion engine 1; MG 2 drive-connected with the internal combustion engine 1 for starting the internal combustion engine 1, and serving also as a generator for generating power with the internal combustion engine 1 as a motive power source; a secondary battery 12 serving as a power source of MG 2, and storing an generated output by the MG 2; and an exhaust emission device 27 provided in an exhaust system of the internal combustion engine 1. In a processing of a catalyst active mode, the power generation command is given to the MG 2 in accordance with a temperature of the catalyst converter 27. Thus, an engine torque is increased to augment an exhaust gas temperature, thereby activating the catalyst converter 27 promptly.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high torque characteristic in a low-rotation region and a high output generating characteristics in a high-rotation region by arranging the centers of the same magnetic poles of first field magnets and second field magnets, and shifting the magnetic pole centers of the first field magnets from those of the second field magnets as the direction of torque generated in a rotor becomes opposite. SOLUTION: Armature windings 11 are wound on a rotor core 11, and the rotor core 11 is shrinkage-fitted to a housing 13, which has a cooling water passage. A permanent-magnet embedded rotor 20 is composed of a first rotor 20A fixed to a shaft 22 and a second rotor 20B separated from the shaft 22. The first rotor 20A has permanent magnets 21A arranged so that their polarities become different in order in the direction of rotation. The second rotor 20B has permanent magnets 21B arranged so that their polarities are different in the order in the direction of rotation. The field magnets of the first and second rotors are opposed to the magnetic poles of the stator. A stopper 24 is provided, so that the second rotor 20B does not protrude out from the center of the stator. Consequently, it becomes possible to vary the quantity of effective magnetic flux generated by permanent magnets which are opposed to magnetic stator fields.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the overall fuel consumption of a hybrid vehicle by preventing the occurrence of such a phenomenon that regenerative braking becomes impossible due to over charging when the vehicle descends a slope in the case that the running route of the vehicle is not designated. SOLUTION: An altitude calculating section 44 calculates the altitude at the present location of a hybrid vehicle by estimating the gradient of a road surface from the speed and driving torque of the vehicle. A battery managing section 43 calculates the difference between an average altitude found from the past altitude history and the present altitude and changes the target value or upper- and lower-limit values of the charging rate of a battery and calculates a charging/discharging command value in accordance with a detected charging rate value and the target value or upper-and lower-limit values. An integral control section 22 decides the output allocations to an engine and a motor based on the target driving torque of the vehicle calculated by means of a target torque deciding section 21 and a charge/discharge command from the battery managing section 43, finds the optimum working point of the engine, and outputs control commands to the engine and motor.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate vehicle torque at an exact aimed point in a hybrid vehicle by using a rate of speed change of only one motor for compensating a variation of torque of all motors caused by the inertia of motors in a driving system. SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle, each output shaft of motors A12 and B13 is joined with an output shaft of an engine 11 and a driving shaft 18 in the vehicle via a differential mechanisms 16 and 17. A variation in torque of motor A12 and motor B13 caused by variation of revolutions is compensated by using a rate of speed change of the motor A12, that is detected by a rate-of-speed- change detecting means 21 for detecting the rate of the speed change of the motor A12. Then, the torque of both motors A12 and B13 can be compensated by using the rate of speed change of only one motor.

SOLUTION: Conductor members 103, having channels 106 in the inside, are connected to a base plate 101 via a resin insulating layer 102, and a power semiconductor elements 104 are soldered respectively to these members 103, as the conductors of a circuit pattern. Then, the channels 106 of the respective members 103 are connected by an insulated piping 105 to make cool water flow through it. Since only soldered layers 107 exist between the elements 104 and the members 103, cooling capability is high and since there is no risk of insulation breakages to occur due to thermal stress during the manufacture or the operation, a reliable power semiconductor module is obtained.
