    • PURPOSE:To accurately control the output voltage by selecting the side where the output voltage is low for the control signal of a power switch for field current control out of the deviation partial-pressure output being sought from the deviation signal between the output of a battery or a generator and the preset voltage and the integration output. CONSTITUTION:The difference with the preset voltage 12 is sought with a deviation signal output circuit 13 by detecting 11 the DC voltage from a generator or the output voltage of a battery. The deviation signal is integrated 14 as it is and is outputted, and it is inputted into the + terminal of a comparator 17, and also the potential is divided 15 and it is inputted into the + terminal of a comparator 18. The output of a toothed signal generation circuit 16 is inputted as the common reference voltage to the-terminals of the comparators 17 and 18. The output voltages 17a and 18a of the comparators 17 and 18 are inputted into the AND circuit 19, and the lower side is selected, and a MOS-FET 20, which forms a power switch, is turned on or turned off, whereby the field current of a generator is controlled. Hereby, a field current answers instantaneously even at low-voltage load, whereby the output voltage of the generator is controlled accurately.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce negative factors to the engine torque of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle by controlling the adjusting voltage of an AC on-vehicle generator by using a signal obtained by taking into account the information about the vehicle, etc., from the outside. CONSTITUTION:The control system is provided with an AC generator 1 which is rotated by means of an internal combustion engine and the output power of which is changed by controlling its field current and a battery 2 which is charged by the power generated by the generator l. The control system is also provided with a detecting means which detects one or more of the operating state, mechanical load, electric load 3, and charged state of the battery 2 and signal generating means 41 which generates a signal in accordance with the value detected by the detecting means. In addition, the control system is also provided with an external control means 4 which controls the field current of the generator 1 based on a signal outputted from the means 41. Especially, the control system can appropriately control the charging of an on-vehicle battery by detecting the operating state and loading state of the battery.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a detector small with high resolutions free from effect of a high temperature and electromagnetic noise, by inserting an optical fiber between a light emitting element and a photodetector and a rotary disc as separated therefrom. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber is inserted between light emitting element and photodetector 76 and 78 and a disc 32 as separated therefrom 76 and 78. In other words, light radiated from the light emitting element 76 is introduced near the disc 32 with a first optical fiber 54 to irradiate the disc 32 with light emitted at an end face of the fiber 54. The reflected light from the disc 32 is introduced with second optical fibers 56a-56f to the photodetector 78. On the other hand, light emitted from the optical fiber 54 expands and hits the disc 32 based on numerical aperture determined by refractive indexes of a core and a clad composing the optical fiber. The reflected light expands more than doubling the angle of expansion of the emitted light toward the optical fibers 56a-56f. To receive the reflected light efficiently, the fiber 54 is selected in a smaller numerical aperture while the optical fibers 56a-56f in a larger numerical aperture.
