    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high recording density, a high sensitivity and a good reproducing output by laminating a substrate, an antiferromagnetic film, a magnetic film, non- magnetic electrical conductive film, a soft magnetic film, a non-magnetic electrical conductive film, a magnetic film and an antiferromagnetic film parallel to a recording medium. SOLUTION: A magneto-resistance effect device is constructed by electrically connecting an electrode 40 to a film in which a magneto-resistance effect film 10, i.e., a laminated film with an antiferromagnetic film 32, a magnetic film 11, non- magnetic electrical conductive film 20, a soft magnetic film 12, a non-magnetic electrical conductive film 20, a magnetic film 11 and an antimagnetic film 31 is laminated on a substrate 50. The magnetic film 11 and the magnetic film 12 are alternatively laminated through the non-magnetic electrical conductive film 20 so as to electrically conduct, but so as not to produce magnetic coupling, the magnetic film 11 being applied with strong anisotropism by the antiferromagnetic film 32 and the magnetic film 12 being applied with weaker anisotropism than that of the antiferromagnetic film 32 by uniaxial anisotropy, shape anisotropy, soft film bias and the like. As a result, magnetization of the magnetic film 11 is substantially fixed relative to external magnetic field and only magnetization of the magnetic film 12 is largely responsive to the external magnetic field.
