With noise reducing effect thus provided, the fan suction casing 1 is formed into noise reducing structure so as not to influence the performance of a fan, and noise can be reduced in a place as close as possible to the generated place of interference noise generated by a rotor blade, a stator blade, members, and the like and noise generated by vortex flow caused by the change or the like of fluid passage area and a passage.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the torque characteristic of an air turbine without generating the uncomfortable air current sound by setting the diameter of both end face wall sides of the air turbine smaller than the diameter of the center section of the air turbine. CONSTITUTION:A runner 4R and a runner 4L have eight adjacent right and left blades respectively, they are staggeringly arranged in turn, the end face wall 19R of the runner 4R and the end face wall 19L of the runner 4L have a curvature at the center section, the diameter of the end face walls 19R, 19L is made smaller than the diameter of the center section of a turbine 4, and the outer periphery side faces 44R, 44L of the runners 4R, 4L are inclined. The sucked air current collides with the runners 4R, 4L of the turbine 4 after passing through a nozzle 30 then flows toward the outer periphery of the turbine 4 along the curvature of the center section of the end face walls 19R, 19L. A sufficient air quantity can be secured for the sucked air current to flow between the runners 4R, 4L, and the torque is not reduced. The air current colliding with the end face walls 19R, 19L is mitigated, and the noises generated when the air current is disturbed are reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To make a uniform distribution of blown snow concentration in a vertical direction at a nozzle blowing port by a method wherein an opening or closing deflector having a plurality of slit-like aeration ports formed in a direction crossing with such a direction as one in which one end of an auxiliary deflector is moved up or down and for making a variable width of each of the aeration ports is installed at a lower part of a snow scraping shooter. CONSTITUTION:As a gear motor 6 is rotated in a direction indicated by an arrow, each of wires 7 is moved in a direction indicated by an arrow. As a result, each of deflectors is moved in the same direction as that of the wire and a deflector 3 is operated in a direction to close. If the gear motor 6 is rotated in a reverse direction, the deflector 3 is moved to open. The auxiliary deflector 4 is operated such that a gear-rack 5 performs a vertical movement with the gear motor 6 and the deflector 3 performs the vertical movement in a slant direction. In this way, it is possible to set a degree of opening of the opening or closing deflector 3 to any optional position, so that even if an amount of blown snow or an air speed is varied, the most appropriate degree of opening is selected to enable a uniform distribution of concentration of blown snow.

    • PURPOSE:To perform wind tunnel tests with a small air-current cross section, by forming the wall surface of a wind tunnel in such a streamline shape that can simulate the running state of a test car or the running state of another test car which is very similar to the first mentioned test car in shape and dimensions. CONSTITUTION:The streamline shape of a curved-surface cover 3 is previously approximated to a streamline 3' which is formed in the course of a wind tunnel test which can accurately simulate the running state of a test car 1 and by flow analysis, etc. Moreover, the shape of the curved surface of the cover 3 is formed so that the curved surface can follow the streamline three-dimensionally. Therefore, a state where the test car 1 is put in a uniform air flow can be realized, even when the cross section of the air flow 2 flowing into a measuring section is almost the same as that of the test car 1. If another test car 1' is similar to the test car 1 in shape and dimensions as shown in the figure, no much difference can be found between the shape of the streamline formed when the test car 1 is put in a uniform air current and the shape of the streamline formed when the test car 1' is put in the uniform air current. Therefore, the curved-surface cover 3 which is manufactured in accordance with the test car 1 can be used for the test car 1'. Accordingly, wind tunnel tests can be carried out with a small air-current cross section.
