    • PURPOSE:To improve a power factor of a full-wave rectifying circuit at the low- output voltage as well as to provide miniaturizing of a power supply source, forming GTO's consisting of a three-phase full-wave rectifying circuit and by switching these GTO's on and off with the frequency of 6 times the power supply source frequency or higher. CONSTITUTION:In case where armature current control of a d.c. motor M for driving a d.c. elevator is performed by means of a 3-phase full-wave rectifying circuit, at least three elements U1, U1 and W1 out of six elements U1 to V2, V1 to V2 and W1 to W2 forming a 3-phase full-wave rectifying circuit are constituted as a thyristor GTO (gate turn-off device) which functions as a current interrupter. A system is constructed so as to switch these GTO's on and off for six times the frequency of a 3-phase AC supply source Ea or higher with the help of a gate circuit PC. In order to decrease an output voltage of a 3-phase full-wave rectifying circuit, a phase alpha is controlled for null to generate a high voltage, and in this case the conduction time of the GTO's is enough short, so that a current flowing through the supply source Ea can be decreased to the full extent to make the power factor closer to 1.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a current transformer extremely inexpensively by selecting a a secondary winding so that is normal exciting voltage may fall within a specific voltage range and employing an enameled wire for the secondary winding. CONSTITUTION:A secondary winding is so selected that its normal exciting voltage may fall within 15-40V, O type enameled wire is selected therefor in a structure omitting interlayer insulator of the secondary winding. If the power source voltage for saturating an iron core 6 is lower than 40V when a commercial frequency AC power source voltage is applied as a normal exciting voltage to the secondary winding, the secondary winding will not break its insulation by the voltage caused when a load is accidentally opened even if interlayer insulator is not employed when O tupe enameled wire is used as the secondary winding. In this manner there can be extremely inexpensively obtained a current transformer.
