    • PURPOSE:To prevent overvoltage and power consumption generated until a main circuit is interrupted by a mechanism wherein pattern voltage is clamped when alternating current voltage for controlling a gate drops. CONSTITUTION:A pattern generating portion PD generates pattern voltage VP corresponding to notch instructions, and supplies it to an operational amplifier OP. A transistor Tr is connected to an output circuit of the pattern generating portion through a resistor R. A main circuit current converting portion FD converts output from a main circuit current detecting portion DCCT into feedback signals VF, and feeds them to the operational amplifier. Output from the operational amplifier OP is supplied to a main thyristor MTh and a gate pulse generating portion GP through a phase-shifting controlling portion PS, and controls the main thyristor by output pulses VG. When alternating current voltage drops, a voltage detector VD functions, the transistor Tr is at ON, and pattern voltage is clamped at a fixed value. Thus, the width of the pulses VG is narrowed, and power consumption until a main circuit is interrupted can be suppressed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the degree of defectiveness of an appliance or circuit from increasing, by hindering the restoring operation of a protective detector by a resetting unit and opening the defective appliance or circuit depending on the number of times of repetition of the restoring operation. CONSTITUTION:The protective detector consists of a high-speed circuit breaker HB, an overcurrent relay OCR1 for a first group and an overcurrent relay OCR2 for a second group. When the high-speed circuit breaker operates, the restoring operation by a reset switch RS can be performed once. When the relays OCR1, OCR2 operate, the restoring operation can be performed up to two times. Main motor breakers COS11-COS22 and the relays are operated when the restoring operation is performed three or more times. A memory CD is provided so that it operates in response to the AND of the operation of the protective detector with a resetting operation. When the number of repetition of the restoring operation reaches a predetermined value, the motor breakers and the relays are caused to operate in connection with the resetting operation.
