摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain storage and transmission of a data signal while protecting the copyright of encrypted broadcast data. SOLUTION: A decoder 409 decodes encrypted broadcast data received from a communication satellite, and a reproducing apparatus 410 reproduces the decoded signal. An encryption unit 411 applies re-encryption to the decoded signal and stores the result to a storage device 413 or transmits it to the outside of a device 400. Since the decoded broadcast data are stored and transmitted after re-encrypting the data, it is difficult to illegitimately use the data by means of copying and this invention allows the use of data stored in an accumulator while protecting the copyright of the data. Concerning a more detailed information request, the program link information processor 300 acquires information from a link information storage device 640 and displays it on the TV monitor 400.

The line signal mixing/separating circuit 230 separates and outputs only the voice signals from a caller, and signals inputted to an output signal switching circuit 240 are normally inputted to a signal switching circuit 180. In the case that call terminated signals are not digital modulation signals, the signal switching circuit 180 selects input signals from the output signal switching circuit 240 by the instruction from the microcomputer 10 and the voice signals of the telephone are outputted to a voice signal output terminal 190.
