    • PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration of a drive power source from being transmitted to a mechanism, by rotatably supporting an intermediate shaft in the belt transmission mechanism with a fluid bearing further giving the tension to a belt between the intermediate shaft and a driven shaft by a connecting rod with a vibro-isolator. CONSTITUTION:For an intermediate bearing 18 for rotatably supporting an intermediate shaft 7, a fluid bearing is used to separate the rotary motion system and the supporting system of a 3-knuckle link. Here the bearing rigidity K1 at the side of a drive power source 1 of the intermediate bearing 18 is arranged to a level equal to or not higher than the bearing rigidity K2 at the side of a rotated body 3. To a connecting rod 12 for further giving the tension to a belt 9 between the intermediate shaft 7 and a driven shaft 4, a vibro-isolator 13 is further provided. Here the spring constant K of the vibro-isolator 13 is determined from the below described formula of relation with mass M of the rotated body 3 in such a manner that the characteristic frequency fn of a vibration system is fully low. fn=(1/2pi)(K/M) . In this way, a belt transmitting vibrationless transmission mechanism of turning effect without transmitting vibration of the drive power source 1 can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To do away with excessive machining load and impact on work piece for lesser machining distorsion by switching between feeding speed control of a feed unit and feeding speed control of machining load according to the grinding condition. CONSTITUTION:As long as the grinding load does not exceed the force of the weight 22, i.e., the contact of a hook 30 is not released, or in other words, under the working condition where the feed speed is regulated within the range of the grinding capacity(speed) of the grindstone 32, a feed unit 20 sends a grindstone rotating unit 16 near to a rork rotating unit 12, successfully understaking slow feed at the beginning of cutting or control of stopping location of cutting. When the speed of the feed unit 20 becomes greater than the grinding capacity (speed) of the grindstone 32, the contact of the hook 30 is released to equalize the grinding load and the force of the weight 22. Thus, work piece 1 is machined at the rate suitable to the cutting quality of the grindstone 32 under the machining load control method.
