摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of roller bits even in the case of being used in the weak ground so as to obtain effective propulsion. SOLUTION: A rotary excavator for a pipe burying device is provided with a propulsion machine body, a rotary excavator and a viscosity imparting liquid filling means. The ground is excavated by the rotary excavator while propelling the propulsion machine body, and viscosity imparting liquid is filled in excavated sediment and agitated and mixed to produce mud with plastic fluidity. This mud is fed backward while being filled in a clearance between an excavated hole wall and the propulsion machine body. In this case, an excavator base part 8 is fitted to a seal case 11 rotatably fitted to the front part of the propulsion body, and a viscosity imparting liquid filling body 5 with an umbrella shaped bit 6 provided at a front end part so as to be able to fill viscosity imparting liquid radially is arranged at the rotational center part of the rotary excavator in such a way as to protrude forward from the excavator base part 8. Roller bit fitting arms 2 with outer peripheral roller bits 3 and inner peripheral roller bits 4 rotatably fitted thereto are arranged alternately in a circumferential direction around the viscosity imparting liquid filling body 5 and fitted protruding forward from the excavator base part 8.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for propelling a pipe which can make the sectional area of a starting shaft smaller relatively than that according to conventional techniques. SOLUTION: A pipe propelling machine is equipped with a fore end excavating- propelling machine having a fore end excavating part, a front hull 4 to which this fore end excavating part is so connected as to be rotatable by a direction modifying jack and a rear hull 5 to which the front hull 4 is so connected by pins 2b as to be rotatable freely. In this case, a watertight bulkhead 3 which can prevent penetration of underground water and earth and sand is provided in the rear of the front hull 4, while the rear hull 5 is manufactured separately from the front hull 4, and a plurality of coupling members 11a on one side of couplers 11 are fitted to the watertight bulkhead 3, while a plurality of coupling members 11b on the other side which are coupled with the coupling members 11a respectively are fitted to a bulkhead 13 for the rear hull. Thereby a combined body of the fore end excavating part and the front hull 4 is propelled and started in a preceding manner. Then, the rear hull 5 is provided in a starting shaft and fitted to the front hull 4 with hoses 6 in the front hull 4 and the rear hull 5 coupled by couplers 11, so that the fore end excavating-propelling machine being completed can be propelled.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert an electric cable into a buried pipe instead of a hydraulic hose, and to easily connect the buried pipe in a starting shaft by connecting an auxiliary unit pipe incorporating an electrohydraulic unit to a guidance body. SOLUTION: An auxiliary unit pipe 28 and a buried pipe 9 are successively connected to a guidance body 6 for forcing it into the ground by an original pressing device 5 in a starting shaft 1. In the auxiliary unit pipe 28, electric motors 29 and 30 with cooling fans 31 and 32, a small hydraulic pump 33, and a working fluid tank 34 are provided, and hydraulic presure is supplied to a jack 8 of the guidance body 6 for expanding and contracting a tip head 7. In the hydraulic oil tank 34, breathing space is provided at upper and lower parts for exchanging air in front and behind, and a cooling pipe 37 of the working fluid tank 34 is connected to an aggregate hose 91 for connecting it to an aggregate plant 90 on the ground, thus inserting an electric cable into the buried pipe 9 instead of a hydraulic hose 13 for supplying hydraulic pressure to the jack 8, and hence easily connecting the buried pipe 9 in the starting shaft 1.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely crush a temporary wall with a shield machine and easily construct a starting/arrival shaft by arranging the temporary wall buried with glass beads in the surface to form a finely crushing layer on a shaft mouth. SOLUTION: A temporary wall 1 is formed with a finely crushing layer 1a made of resin mortar and buried with many glass beads 2 and a strength securing layer 1b with the required thickness and buried with no glass bead 2, the temporary wall 1 is fitted to the shaft mouth of a starting/arrival shaft, and a water stop device is fitted on the inside. When a shield machine is advanced from the inside of the shaft into contact with the temporary wall 1 through the water stop device, the temporary wall 1 is deflected and finely crushed by means of cracks generated from the glass beads 2, and no problem occurs on the excavation of the shield machine. In the case of an arrival shaft, the shield machine first crushes the temporary wall 1 and enters the shaft through the water stop device. Many grooves may be crossingly formed on the surface of the temporary wall 1 in place of the glass beads 2. The starting/ arrival shaft can be easily constructed.

A tip fixed shaft 12 is integrally provided on the tip of the pipe joint part 13 through a flange part, a tip adapter 9 is provided on the tip thereof through a ball joint 10 in such a manner as to freely tilt, and a protective flexible material protecting a sediment from entering 11 is disposed in a gap between the tip adapter 9 and the tip fixed shaft 12f. Accordingly, when the tip adapter 9 touches an obstacle, immediately the tip adapter 9 inclined in the direction of a base line to hold down the shift amount to the minimum. At the time of rectilinear advance, earth pressure applied to the tip adapter 9 is equalized to keep rectilinear advancing performance.
