    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve work efficiency and to enable high-accuracy non-open cut press-in advance without position detection and direction control by providing a tip adapter adapted to freely tilt to avoid an obstacle independently of a propulsion pipe in a tip device of a small-caliber propulsion machine for conducting non-open cut press-in advance under the ground. SOLUTION: In a tip device of a small-caliber propulsion machine for conducting a on-open cut press-in advance for natural ground, a male screw part of the tip of a propulsion pipe 14 is screw-engaged with a female screw part of the rear end of a pipe joint part 13 to be connected to each other. A tip fixed shaft 12 is integrally provided on the tip of the pipe joint part 13 through a flange part, a tip adapter 9 is provided on the tip thereof through a ball joint 10 in such a manner as to freely tilt, and a protective flexible material protecting a sediment from entering 11 is disposed in a gap between the tip adapter 9 and the tip fixed shaft 12f. Accordingly, when the tip adapter 9 touches an obstacle, immediately the tip adapter 9 inclined in the direction of a base line to hold down the shift amount to the minimum. At the time of rectilinear advance, earth pressure applied to the tip adapter 9 is equalized to keep rectilinear advancing performance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously execute works for a rectilinear advance section and a sharp curve section without an arrival shaft by providing the tip of a lot bar having a joint part turned at a designated angle with a taper head adapted to advance in a curve by utilizing earth pressure of advance, and disposing an outer cylindrical pipe advancing rectilinearly in the periphery of the lot bar. SOLUTION: The tip of a lot bar having a joint part 2 turned at a designate angle is provided with a taper head advancing in a curve, and an outer cylindrical pipe 3 advancing rectilinearly is disposed in the periphery of the lot bar 1. At the time of rectilinear advance, the outer cylindrical pipe 3 is advanced by a propulsion device, and when it reaches the curve advance position, the lot bar 1 is pushed out of the outer cylindrical pipe 3, the advancing direction is corrected by earth pressure applied to the taper head 4, and then the position of the taper head 4 is confirmed to push out the lot bar 1 in the direction of the curve advance arrival position. After the taper head 4 reaches the curve advance arrival position, a lead-in jig and lead-in pipe are connected to the tip of the lot bar 1, and the lot bar 1 is drawn in to bury the lead-in pipe.
