    • PURPOSE: To prevent burning of engine by providing a valve mechanism to be opened/closed with pressurized engine oil at the output of pump at the fuel inlet path of fuel injection pump thereby stopping fuel supply quickly with correspondence to insufficient engine oil supply.
      CONSTITUTION: A plunger type valve 14 is fitted slidably in a banjo bolt 13 for fixing a banjo 12 to the pump body while a valve hole 15 is communicated into the banjo 12. While T-type valve path 16 is provided in the valve 14 and a spring 17 will energize to full-close side. The oil chamber 19 of diaphragm chamber 18 fixed to the end of bolt 13 is communicated to the delivery of an engine oil supply pump while the diaphragm 20 is communication with the valve 14. Upon insufficient oil supply to engine, pressure oil supply to oil chamber 19 is reduced to return the diaphragm 20 through the spring 17 thus to interrupt communication between the valve path 16 and the valve hole 15 through the valve 14.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate the occurrence of a risk due to reversing phenomenon during the starting, by a method wherein, when the number of cranking revolutions exceeds a reversing generation range, release from decomp is effected.
      CONSTITUTION: A pin 15 of a weight lever 13, pivotally secured at 14 to a cam gear 6, is engaged with an engaging part 11 of a decomp pin 9, and a forward pin 12 of the decomp 9 is positioned in the compression stroke of a cam 4. The forward end 12 of the decomp pin 9 is emerged from a cam 4, decomp of an engine is effected in the whole area or the partial area of a compressivion stroke, or a partial area extending over the whole area or the partial area of the compression stroke and an expansion stroke. The number of revolutions, by means of which release from decomp is effected, is set to an area of the number of revolutions higher than that in the reversing generation area of an engine, and this eliminates a troublesome preparatory work before the starting of an engine, enables reduction of an operating force during the starting of an engine, and ena bles prevention of the occurrence of a risk due to reversing.
