摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the slapping noise of a piston and to exactly lubricate without loss in a piston reciprocating type internal combustion engine by forcibly supplying lubricating oil between the piston and the wall surface of a cylinder and lubricating by separate oil system from other portions. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil inlets 19, 20 are opened at the wall surface of a cylinder 3, and independently communicate with lubricating oil storage section 26 provided at the bottom of a crankcase 5 via lubricating oil supply passages 24, 25 by oil pumps 22, 23, respectively. The pump 22 is driven by an air intake cam 13, while the pump 23 is driven by an air exhaust cam 14. Accordingly, the pump 22 discharges the oil in the vicinity of the bottom dead point of 180 deg. of a cranking angle at the oil supplying timing, and the pump 23 discharges the oil in the vicinity of the bottom dead point of 540 deg. of the cranking angle. Thus, an oil film is formed between the skirt portion 4a of the piston and the wall surface of the cylinder 3 to reduce the slapping noise of the piston.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent oil exhaustion and reduce noise by opening an oil pouring port in the vicinity of the bottom dead point outside the piston ring sliding range on the cylinder wall inner surface and pouring a portion of lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:On the inner surface of a cylinder 3, an oil pouring port 10 is opened at a position opposite to the peripheral surface of the skirt part 4a at the position of the bottom dead point, outside the range of sliding of a piston ring 8 in relation to the direction of sliding of a piston 4. Said pouring port 10 communicates to the annular oil groove 12 formed at the joint part between a cylinder block 1 and a crank case 11 and communicates to an oil pump 16 through an oil passage 13. Independently of the oil returning hole 14 of the piston 4, a secondary oil returning hole is supplemented on the rand part between an oil ring 8b and a gas ring 8a. Thus, the lubricating oil in the cylinder can be scratched certainly, so oil exhaustion can be prevented certainly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine in which the speed of a delivery valve is decreased at the end of a descending motion thereof to thereby reduce production of noises and is increased at the beginning of a descending motion of thereof to thereby ensure its sucking-back effect by constituting the pump such that a cam for control of the valve has an appropriate profile which provides such motion of the valve. CONSTITUTION:When a cam 10 is rotated in a counterclockwise direction to raise a plunger 2, a recessed section 1a of the plunger 2 passes by an inlet/outlet hole 5 so that pressure in a chamber 6 is raised and soon exceeds the force of a spring 3 whereupon a delivery valve 4 is raised to thereby effect discharge of fuel. When the plunger 2 begins its descending motion upon a continued rotation of the cam 10, the plunger 2 and the delivery valve 4 are first permitted to rapidly descend due to a steep declination b of the cam 10 thereby to effect an assured sacking- back operation. At the end of a descending motion, the descending speed of the plunger 2 is moderated due to a moderate declination c of the cam 10. After the recessed section 1a of the plunger 2 is displaced below the inlet/outlet hole 5, fuel is sucked in. Feed of fuel is thus effected repetitively in such a sequence of operations as described above.

Moreover, on the peripheral surface of the piston skirt part 4a opposite to the pouring port 10, an oil guiding groove 14 is arranged which extends in parallel to the direction of sliding. Thus, a high pressure oil membrane is formed in the clearance at the position of the top dead point of the piston 4, and the noise due to piston slap can be reduced.
