    • PURPOSE:To stably hold connector plugs by providing means which are arranged on a fixed-side connector holder and a moving-side connector holder respectively and press both the rear end surfaces of the connector plugs and the height position of the optical fibers of an optical fiber cable equally in the horizontal and right-left directions with a spring force. CONSTITUTION:The connector plugs 4 and 3 of an optical connector are stored in storage parts 11c and 12c for the fixed-side connector holder 11 and moving- side connector holder 12 and the pressing members 20 and 25 press both the rear end surfaces 4b and 3b of the connector plugs 4 and 3 and the center, i.e. the height position of optical fibers 2 and 1 equally in the horizontal and right-left directions with the spring force without interfering with a clip pressing the connector plugs 4 and 3 against each other. Consequently, the connector plugs 4 and 3 are pressed against each other without slanting in any direction. Thus, while the connector plugs 4 and 3 are held, the clip which brings the both into press contact is detached. Consequently, the connector plugs 4 and 3 can be held excellently in press contact.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a collision of each end face by fixing an optical connector to a fixing base, abutting the end face of a projection of the optical connector against a projecting part of the fixing base, abutting each end face of the optical connector against each other, and abutting the end face of a detaining projecting piece of the optical connector against the projecting part of the fixing base and fixing it. CONSTITUTION:An optical connector 1 is fixed to one fixing base 4, and an optical connector 2 and 3 are fixed to the other fixing base 5. In this case, an end face 12 of a projecting part 10 of the fixing base 4 and an end face 13 of a projecting part 11 of the fixing base 5 are opposed so as to be positioned on the same straight line Y-Y. In this state, the optical connector 1, and the optical connectors 2, 3 are fixed to the fixing base 4, and the fixing base 5, respectively. In this case, an end face 8a of a projection of the optical connector 1 is abutted against the projecting part 11 of the fixing base 5, an end face 14 is abutted against an end face 15 of the optical connector 1, and an end face 9a of a projection of the optical connector 3 is abutted against the projecting part 10 of the fixing base 4. In such a way, at the time of switching the optical connectors, each optical connector moves smoothly without coming into contact with each other, and can be switched easily and surely.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten the moving time of a connector and to shorten the instantaneous interruption time of a hot-line, by impressing a high voltage on a solenoid at the time of starting movement. CONSTITUTION:Either one of the connectors 1 and 2 connected to each other is moved until a connection state with another connector 3 is set. And the voltage to be impressed on the solenoid 4 is set at high at the time of driving the solenoid, and the voltage to be impressed on the solenoid 4 after the lapse of a certain time after being driven is decreased, and the excitation of the solenoid 4 can be maintained by the low voltage. Thus, since the high voltage is applied on the solenoid 4 at the time of being driven, a moving block 7 is moved rapidly in a direction of arrow head (a) by increasing the attractive force of the solenoid 4, and the movement is stopped when the block is abutted with a stopper 8. In such a way, it is possible to shorten the instantaneous interruption time of light at the time of switching the connector.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the improvement of the working precision of a burner, the assembly strength and the controllability of the burner by connecting both a metallic long pipe for a base end part and a heat resistant short pipe for a tip via a fitting part. CONSTITUTION:The long pipes 15-18 are formed with stainless steel excellent in the heat resistance, the workability and the corrosion resistance and the short pipes 19-22 are formed with ceramics high in the heat resistance and the corrosion resistance. The opposite fitting parts 23-26, 27-30 are formed in the inside and outside peripheral faces of the connection ends of the long pipes 15-18 and the short pipes 19-22 and both the long pipe 15-18 and the short pipes 19-22 are mutually contacted by fitting and fixing these reciprocally. Preferably the fitting faces 35-37 having the broad breadth are formed in the inside peripheries of the base end parts of the long pipes 16-18 and closely fitted to the outside peripheral faces of the pipes of the insides thereof. When presetting properly a number of the pipe material of this structure to be used, a burner having the multiplied pipe structure for producing optical glass can be produced.
