    • PURPOSE:To send a signal integrally without splitting the transmission area of a synchronizing signal and an asynchronizing signal by splitting a synchronizing signal string and an asynchronizing signal string into a fixed length of transmission block referred to as a cell. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal equipment 20 of a remote station 2 sends a signal to a terminal equipment 20 accommodated in other station 2, the signal sent from the terminal equipment 20 is split into a fixed length of transmission block referred to as a cell in its own remote station 2 independently of the synchronizing signal string and the asynchronizing signal string and the result is sent to a transmission line 300. When a center station 1 receives the cell via the transmission line 300, a head including an address of a destination terminal equipment 20 is added and the result is sent to the transmission line 300. The signal sent from the terminal equipment 20 is converted into a cell and sent to the transmission line 300 independently of the synchronizing signal or the asynchronizing signal. Thus, the synchronizing signal and the asynchronizing signal are sent integrally similarly.

    • PURPOSE:To use a transmission line efficiently by allowing each station to switch the border of a communication band between a synchronizing signal and an asynchronizing signal on a loop communication network depending on time simultaneously so as to attain the switching of the border in a short time with a simple control. CONSTITUTION:In receiving a border setting request from a communication control section 43, a communication band management section rewrites a side A being a side to be rewritten commanded by a switching display section 18 at the reception according to a new border channel number #i-1 by a write control section 6 and uses a timer setting section 15 so as to set a border switching timing (t) to a timer 14, which is started. In counting the setting timing value, the timer 14 applies display switching command to the display section 18. The display section 18 inverts the switching display to the write control section 6 and the readout control section 9. Thus, the band storage section 1 is brought into the state of side A readout, side B write from the state of side A write and side B readout. Thus, in receiving a request from a line function section 31 or the like, the control section 43 reads out the band of a synchronizing or asynchronizing signal from the side B to apply the communication at a new band.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate interface between a controller and a higher device corresponding to a higher device identification number by providing a circuit, which arbitrarily distributes interface between a communication controller and plural higher devices, and a control circuit which controls this distributing circuit based on transfer requests from the controller and higher devices. CONSTITUTION:Plural higher devices 20 are connected to a communication controller 10a, which uses high-level data link control procedures HDCL, with a service access interface SAPI distributing control circuit 41 and an interface distributing circuit 42 between them. An open flag is detected from serial data received by a serial data interface SDI 11 of this system, and an address, data, or the like following this flag is reported to a CPU 12. The CPU 12 reports the transfer indication of data, which the CPU 12 reports to devices 20 and 30, to a DMAC 15 after performing the order reproducing control of effective data transmitted to and received from the SDI 12 and the LAPD processing like link control, thus facilitating interface.

The terminal equipment (TE) 1-0 operates by following up the signal from the exchange side, and sends out a reply signal to the exchange side. The exchange side receives the signal from the terminal equipment (TE) 1-0 in the terminal testing device (TSTE) 6, and sends out the signal from the terminal equipment (TE) 1-0 to the terminal equipment (TE) 1-1. The terminal equipment (TE) 1-1 compares the signal sent out previously with a signal sent back based on the sent signal, and checks the normality of the terminal equipment (TE) 1-0.
