    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of eliminating the need for increasing a physical capacity of other intervals even when a frequency band of part interval of a ring for configuring an RPR ring network is set to be higher than the frequency band of the other intervals. SOLUTION: An RPR network system is provided with a plurality of RPR station apparatuses and a ring for connecting the RPR station apparatuses, wherein the adjacent RPR station apparatuses specify an interval of the ring, a frequency band different from that assigned to the other intervals is assigned to at least one interval, and each of the RPR station apparatuses transmits a frame with a transmission band whose upper limit is a minimum frequency band assigned to the interval through which the frame is delivered in the case that each RPR station apparatus transmits the frame through the ring to the other RPR station apparatus.
