CONSTITUTION:A subscriber circuit 13 has a test use drawing line 11 connecting to an external test equipment in place of a subscriber line and receives and sends a voice signal and control information in place of a line concentrator 12. The function test is implemented by a function test means 14 via the test use drawing line 11 and a line terminator 12. A transmission characteristic test is implemented by allowing a termination means 16 to terminate a subscriber line circuit of the subscriber circuit 13 via the test use drawing line 11 and using a channel formed by a transmission characteristic test means 17 via the line concentrator 12. Since the test equipment 15 having the function of the subscriber circuit 13 and able to test the transmission characteristic is used to implement the function test and the transmission characteristic test by one test procedure, the test procedure is simplified.

The voltage-measuring part 110 measures the supply voltage to the subscriber terminal of the test object, and the resistance measuring part 120 measures the loop resistance of the line to which the subscriber terminal of the test object is connected. The calculating part 130 obtains call current by dividing the voltage value by the resistance value.
