    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor gas release control system and its method having an electrically operated shutoff valve.
      SOLUTION: The vapor gas release control system comprises a fuel level indicator 62 for providing an electric signal indicating a fuel level, a replenishment controller 68 for receiving the electric signal and providing an shutoff electric signal, a storing reservoir 40 for receiving fuel evaporative emission from a tank, a purge flow controlling means 48 connected to an air inlet of an engine for controlling vapor gas flow, and a recirculation valve (shutoff valve) 70 for shutting off a nozzle by operating so that vapor gas flow to the upper end of a filler tube is prevented by the shutoff electric signal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve assembly used for a filler tube of a fuel tank which facilitates the insertion of a siphon hose into a fuel tank, and a method for forming the check valve. SOLUTION: The check valve assembly 10 having a substantially cylindrical valve body 12 is provided with a plurality of vanes or ribs 20 which extend inward in the radial direction, at the circumferential position of the valve body 12 inlet. The ribs 20 are tapered in the flowing direction, and the direction of the siphon hose end to be inserted is made to face an offset opening part. A valve sheet 24 and a poppet 26 having a tapered surface 36 are arranged below the ribs 20. Opening parts 18 are formed below the valve sheet 24, at the side of the valve main body 12. When the tapered surface 36 of the poppet 26 is opened by the insertion of the siphon hose end, the direction of the hose end is changed so as to extend through the opening parts 18 for facilitating further insertion into the fuel tank.
