    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission which has simple constitution and can suppress the change of the rotation balance for every gear ratio.SOLUTION: This transmission is provided with an input side oscillating arm 15, a support member 133 which supports the input side oscillating arm 15 in freely oscillating manner, a rotation-oscillation conversion mechanism 13 which converts one way rotational movement of the input shaft 12 into the oscillating movement of the input side oscillating arm 15, an output side oscillating arm 16 which is oscillated by being depressed from the predetermined part of the input side oscillating arm 15, an oscillation-rotation conversion mechanisms 17, 18, 19, 20 which convert the oscillating movement of the output side oscillating arm 16 into one way rotational movement of the output shaft 22, and an adjustment mechanism 14 which can adjust the oscillating amount of the output side oscillating arm 16 by changing the position of working point of the input side oscillating arm 15 to the output side oscillating arm 16 in an oscillation radial direction of the input side oscillating arm 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress malfunction of a clutch mechanism configured to suppress energy consumption in power transmission. SOLUTION: When connecting a pulley 30 constituting a driving side rotation body to an armature 40 constituting a driven side rotation body, a movable member 52 is displaced into a position for reducing magnetic resistance of an attracting magnetic circuit MCa in which first and second permanent magnets 51a, 51b generate attracting magnetic force for connecting the pulley 30 to the armature 40. When separating the pulley 30 from the armature 40, the movable member 52 is displaced into a position to increase the magnetic resistance of the attracting magnetic circuit MCa and to reduce the magnetic resistance of a non-attracting magnetic circuit MCb not contributing to the attracting magnetic force.
