    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove dust stuck to an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical body at a conveyance process of the cylindrical body.SOLUTION: This apparatus for cleaning an outer surface of the cylindrical body cleans the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 1 while continuously moving the cylindrical body 1 in a definite direction and includes: an adhesive roller 2 of which the outer circumferential surface is an adhesive surface and which is rotated around a horizontal axis line; and a falling chute 6 which drops the cylindrical body 1 by gravity so that its central axis line is horizontal and further guides the cylindrical body 1 so as to move along the outer circumferential surface of the adhesive roller 2. Since the outer circumferential surface of the adhesive roller 2 does not bend, the outer circumferential surface of the adhesive roller 2 surely comes in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 1 to remove stuck dust. Further since the cylindrical body 1 is moved by gravity fall, structure can be simplified.
