    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque motor which can fix and protect the permanent magnet of a rotor with simple structure. SOLUTION: This torque motor is provided with a cylindrical cover 35 such that it covers the permanent magnets consisting of permanent magnets 33a and 34a, around a rotor. This prevents the permanent magnets 33a and 34a from breaking or coming off a rotor core 32. Resin material 36 is placed as a filler between the cover 35 and the rotor 30, covering the face in the radial direction and in the circumferential direction of each permanent magnet 33a and 34a thereby fixing it. This can prevent the permanent magnets 33a and 34a from shifting in the cover and being worn away. Moreover, since the permanent magnets 33a and 34a are covered with resin material 36, it never contacts directly with the outside air, and this can prevent rust.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump module with a filter case installed on the outer periphery side of a fuel pump, having a reduced axial length.
      SOLUTION: A suction filter 58 removes relatively large foreign matters contained in fuel at the suction side of the fuel pump 32, and a fuel filter 60 removes relatively small foreign matters contained in the fuel at the discharge side of the fuel pump 32. The suction filter 58 is installed at the lower part of the fuel pump 32. The suction filter 58 has a cutoff recessed portion 59 formed in part of the outer periphery. An contour line 102 shows the contour of the suction filter 58 with no cutoff in the outer periphery thereof. A pressure regulator 80 is installed on the outer periphery side of a case body 64 at its lower side. The lower end of the pressure regulator 80 is located in a cutoff region 104 formed by the contour line 102 and the recessed portion 59 of the suction filter 58.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor processing system capable of forcedly purging a canister 3 without consuming electric power even in a low intake pipe negative pressure engine. SOLUTION: When intake pipe negative pressure is generated as a throttle valve 6 is closed, the intake pipe negative pressure is introduced into a first chamber 41 to move a partition wall 7, and the canister 3 is purged by that force to suck fuel vapor (purge air) into a second chamber 42. After that, when the throttle valve 6 is opened to lower the intake pipe negative pressure, the intake pipe negative pressure is released from the first chamber 41, and the partition wall 7 is moved by a spring or the like, so that the fuel vapor in the second chamber 42 is released to an intake pipe 1. The intake pipe negative pressure generated in the intake pipe 1 when the throttle valve 6 is closed, is thus effectively utilized, and a purge pump 5 is driven using the intake pipe negative pressure as a drive source, thereby the canister 3 can be purged without consuming electric power.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cruise control by not opening a throttle valve over a prescribed opening degree at the time of normal driving. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 13 is energized in an opening direction by a spring 22, and an accelerating shaft 51 is energized in a closing direction by the spring 55. The energizing force of the spring 55 is set larger than the energizing force of the spring 22. An upper limit guard 56 is rotated together with the accelerating shaft 51, and opening degree of opening direction of the throttle valve 13 can be restricted. In an ECU which is not shown in a figure, current-carrying is carried out to only one way of two coils 37a, 37b in a torque motor 30 at the time of normal driving and ISC, and current-carrying is carried out to both coils 37a, 37b at the time of cruise control. Since driving force of the torque motor 30 when current-carrying is carried out to only one coil 37a is smaller than energizing force for energizing the throttle valve 13 in a closing direction, in the case where abnormal condition is generated in the ECU, opening degree of the throttle valve 13 can be controlled by acceleration operation.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque motor capable of increasing generated torque at a prescribed rotational angle position, and a throttle device therewith. SOLUTION: A rotor 41 and a stator core face each other to form a prescribed space in the rotation-axial direction. The rotor 41 consists of a disc rotor core 42 pressed in and fixed to a throttle shaft, and rotor magnets 43, 44 mounted on end surface of the rotor core 42 on the non-throttle valve side with adhesive or the like. The rotor magnets 43, 44 are magnetized in an opposite direction to the rotating shaft, and form four-pole rotor magnetic pole so that magnetism may be different alternately in a rotational direction. Area extended parts 45, 46 whose opposite areas to the stator core are larger than that of other rotational direction position are formed on the closed end in the rotational direction of the rotor magnets 43, 44. When the rotor 41 is rotated in an open valve direction and comes close to the stator core having different magnetization, the generated torque increases near a fully open position.
