    • PURPOSE:To surely detect erroneous setting of a slider by detecting a turn position changed of a phase determining arm by an upper or lower patch, brought into contact with two kinds of workpieces, by a vertical set position of the slider loaded with the workpiece of crankshaft or the like. CONSTITUTION:A grinder or the like is provided with a phase determining arm 9 for positioning a pin P on a spindle rotary axial line with a reference surface 8 brought into contact with a reference arm of a chuck device by rotating a workpiece (crankshaft) W, loaded on a slider of the chuck device, about a journal J. This phase determining arm 9 is provided with upper/lower part patches 11, 12 brought into contact with upper/lower surfaces of pins PA, PB and a limit switch 14. By an operating condition of the limit switch 14 by a dog 15 synchronized with turn driving the phase determining arm 9, a turn position of the phase determining arm 9 is detected to be changed when the upper or lower part patch 11 or 12 is brought into contact with the workpiece W, and a wrong set position is detected of the slider which must correspond to the workpiece W.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove a clogging material from the mesh of a filter and enable the constantly stable treating capability to be displayed. SOLUTION: A cleaning liquid containing cuttings is stored in a recovered liquid tank 5 provided on a housing for the filter device 1. The cleaning liquid finds its way into a treating liquid tank 6 after passing through a drum filter 2, and cuttings are captured by the outer periphery of the drum filter 2. In this case, the cleaning liquid receives flow resistance, so that a difference in the liquid level is created between the recovered liquid tank 5 and the treating liquid tank 6. When a drum filter is clogged, the flow resistance increases, resulting in the increase of the difference in the liquid level. Through determining this difference in the liquid level, the degree of the clogging of the drum filter 2 is indirectly measured based on the difference in the liquid level. Further, the cleaning liquid is jetted from a nozzle 10 in compliance with the degree of the clogging to remove a clogging matter from the mesh of the drum filter 2. When the difference in the liquid level is below the specified difference level, jetting the cleaning liquid from the nozzle 10 is stopped.
