摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration apparatus for treating a cutting-oil agent, or the like, capable of continuously operating for a long time without replacing a filter element, nor producing waste materials.
SOLUTION: An un-filtrated liquid is at first supplied from an unfiltrated liquid inlet 20 to a filtering chamber 14 by virtue of a pump 11, and then discharged from an unfiltrated liquid outlet 21, thereby generating a revolving current S within the filtering chamber 14. Part of the unfiltrated liquid is filtrated by virtue of a filter element 24 to obtain a filtrate from a filtrate outlet 27. Since foreign matters adhering to a surface of the filter element 24 are swept off by the revolving current S, the surface of the filter element 24 always stays in its clean state, thus eliminating the necessity for replacing the filter element. A forced vortex is generated due to the revolving current S, and in its center, a downward current T occurs, thereby making it possible to collect the foreign matters from the unfiltrated liquid into a foreign matter recovering unit 17.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove a clogging material from the mesh of a filter and enable the constantly stable treating capability to be displayed. SOLUTION: A cleaning liquid containing cuttings is stored in a recovered liquid tank 5 provided on a housing for the filter device 1. The cleaning liquid finds its way into a treating liquid tank 6 after passing through a drum filter 2, and cuttings are captured by the outer periphery of the drum filter 2. In this case, the cleaning liquid receives flow resistance, so that a difference in the liquid level is created between the recovered liquid tank 5 and the treating liquid tank 6. When a drum filter is clogged, the flow resistance increases, resulting in the increase of the difference in the liquid level. Through determining this difference in the liquid level, the degree of the clogging of the drum filter 2 is indirectly measured based on the difference in the liquid level. Further, the cleaning liquid is jetted from a nozzle 10 in compliance with the degree of the clogging to remove a clogging matter from the mesh of the drum filter 2. When the difference in the liquid level is below the specified difference level, jetting the cleaning liquid from the nozzle 10 is stopped.
