摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that, in a solar timepiece with illumination in which a solar cell and an EL light-emitting layer are provided on the lower surface of a translucent character plate at which an hour character is formed, a character plate around the hour character is illuminated and the hour character is hard to be recognized because it is blurred when the EL is lit as the hour character is in the shadow if it is small, resulting in posed limit on design. SOLUTION: A pointer display type timepiece comprises an illumination device such as an LED panel 5 with a solar cell 1 as a drive source. The solar cell is disposed under a translucent region 2 of a character plate 1 while the illumination device is disposed under an opaque region 3 with an opening. By using the opening as the hour character 4, a solar clock with illumination which is excellent in design can be presented. The opaque region 3 and the hour character 4 are printed to provide the hour characters such as a figure.

Then, a bearing gauge is set on a bearing indicating section 4 formed integral on the base 5 and a bearing of the gnomon 1 is set accurately. By reading a posi tion of a shadow on the display section 2 made with the shadow bar 3, time can be learned every second.

摘要： PURPOSE:To integrally form a stator by forming a slit on the stator body formed of a strip made of a magnetic material, pushing a slit material cut from a wire material made of a low magnetic permeable or nonmagnetic material into the slit material and coupling them by welding. CONSTITUTION:A pilot hole 11 is punched at a strip material 10 made of permalloy. Then, a lower hole 13a of a rotor hole and a positioning hole 14 of a stator body 12 are opened, and windows 16a-16c are punched except the coupler 15. A slit part 17 is cut at the position where the sectional area becomes minimum in the vicinity of the hole 13a. A ribbon material 21 made of a low magnetic permeable or nonmagnetic material is cut by a cutting pressing punch 19 and a die 20 as a rough slit material 18, which is pushed into the slit part 17. A laser light is emitted to the upper and lower slit parts 17 to weld them to form a slit part 24. Then, the stepwise difference of a rotor hole 25 is formed by pressing, the coupler 15 is then cut to separate the body 12 from the strip material 10. In this manner, an integrally molded stator can be formed.

The shape of the engagement bore is identical with that of a cross section of the rotor wheel pinion 8. The rotor seat 10 is put on a rotor wheel pinion 8 such that the engagement bore provided in the former is fitted around teeth of the latter, and contact surfaces 11 thereof is fused. Thus, the rotor seat 10 is fixed to the rotor wheel pinion.
