    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the misalignment of a print head by providing a means that short-circuits the part between armature coil winding terminals for applying a DC drive voltage to a DC motor, when the motor is not being driven. SOLUTION: For example, when a motor M is rotated forward, a relay RL-3 is turned on before a relay RL-1 is turned on, thus starting forward rotation. Then, when the motor M is rotated in reverse, the relay RL-3 is turned on before a relay RL-2 is turned on, thus starting reverse rotation, while when the motor M is to be stopped, the relay RL-3 is turnedoff. At this time, the relays RL-1 and RL-2 are turned off for safety. More specifically, when the relay RL-3 is turned off, the part between the terminals of the motor M is short-circuited, and the motor is not driven in cases other than when the forward and backward rotation is made. That is, even if impact and vibration are applied from the outside, the part between the terminals of the motor M is short-circuited, thus preventing the motor from being driven.

    • PURPOSE:To rapidly and exactly retrieve image information, by providing a detecting means to detect the position of an image frame and deciding the position of the image frame after counting a mark and retrieving a desired image frame. CONSTITUTION:A mark detecting part for a counting mark (m) is constituted of a light emission part 31 and a mark detector (light emission part) 32 which forms a pair with the part 31, and when a film F is fed, a photodetecting part 32 issues a mark detecting signal by supplying a beam of light from the light emission part 31 intermittently by the mark (m), and the mark detecting signal is counted by a counter in a retriever. Also, the image end detecting part 20 of the image frame 15 is constituted of the light emission part 21 for detecting the image end and an image end detecting sensor (photodetecting part) 22 as a detecting means which forms the pair with the part 21, and the detecting signal of the photodetecting part 22 is sent to the retriever via a guide member made of a bundle of optical fiber not shown in figure. In such a way, after the number of marks is counted and the desired image frame is retrieved rapidly, the position of the image frame can be decided accurately by the detecting means.

    • PURPOSE:To locate desired film information without fail by storing the counted value at the start of the film overrun of a frame mark during the high speed feed of film and by comparing it with the counted film frame number during low speed feed of the film. CONSTITUTION:The subtraction result of a subtracting circuit 35 between the information code preset by an input key 30 and the mark number counted by a second counter is set in a third counter 36, and the film is fed at a high speed in a preset direction in accordance with the set output of FFs F2 and F3 in accordance with the subtraction result. Then, the counted mark number of a mark detector 15 having passed through a gate A1 is compared with the set number so that the coincidence signals fed by the counter 36 are converted into brake signals, and gates A3 and G3 are closed so that the counted value at the start of the overrun of a first counter 33 is stored in the circuit 35. Then, after the film is stopped through delay circuits 40 and 41 and an FF F4, it is moved backward, and the circuit 36 compares the stored value of the circuit 35 and the counted mark value of a frame mark detector 14 having passed through a gate A2. Thus, the film stop is controlled to effect reliable location of the film.
