    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device for a vehicle, which avoids falling into a release operation incapacitated state, without a major alteration of a member structure and the addition of a member.
      SOLUTION: This door lock device 1 for the vehicle comprises: a lift lever 2 which is pushed to enable the release of latching means (a latch 82 and a pole 83) provided in a door and used for latching a means to be latched (striker 81), provided in a vehicle body; an opening link 3 which pushes the lift lever 2 by abutting on it; an opening lever 4 which is actuated by operating a handle provided on the door, and which drives the opening link 3 so as to push the lift lever 2 by the opening link 3; and an active lever 5 which drives the opening link 3 to a lever-undrivable position to disable the pushing of the lift lever 2 by the opening link 3. The active lever 5 is provided with a unidirectional driving portion (guide hole 6) which drives the opening link 3 only in the direction of the lever-undrivable position, and which does not drive it in the reverse direction.
