    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of mitigating the impact applied to a component of a steering mechanism 10 even when deviation occurs in the reference steering angle neutral point. SOLUTION: A behavior control device 80 detects the steering angle θ2 when the straight moving state of a vehicle is detected, and outputs neutral point deviation information to a CAN (Controller Area Network) communication system informing that the steering angle neutral point of a steering mechanism 10 is changed when the steering angle θ2 is changed. An EPS-ECU 50 acquires the neutral point deviation information and reduces the assist torque in the entire range of the steering angle. When any end hit is detected, the deviation of the end steering angle is calculated from the steering angle θ1 at that time, the reference steering angle neutral point is corrected by the deviation, and updated and stored in an EEPROM 45.
