    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling performance of a rotating electrical machine MG1 without adding any extra structure, with respect to a structure where the rotating electrical machine MG1 whose rotating axis is made to be in a horizontal posture is cooled with oil.SOLUTION: An oil pump 4 for supplying oil, through an oil supply passage, to MG1, MG2 and power splitting mechanism all requiring lubrication and cooling, is installed at one side in the axial direction of a rotating electrical machine MG1. A relief valve 20 is provided for discharging oil delivered from the oil pump 4 so that oil supply amount to be supplied from the oil pump 4 to the oil supply passage can be controlled when the oil pressure of the oil supply passage is found excessive. The direction in which oil is discharged from the relief valve 20 is directed toward one side in the axial direction of the rotating electrical machine MG1. It is so arranged that the outer circumferential surface of a piston sleeve 22 of the relief valve 20 in a horizontal posture is line-contacted on the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder chamber 24, while the piston sleeve 22 is made to have a low center of gravity.
