    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a cancel piston, suppressing an increase in thickness as much as possible. SOLUTION: A clutch for an automatic transmission is provided with the cancel piston 7 for fitting inside/outside diameter sides into an outer periphery of a boss part 1a of a clutch drum 1 and an inner periphery of a servo piston 4, respectively, and axially locking the outside of the inside diameter part by allowing the outside of the inside diameter part to abut on a snap ring 6 fitted into an outer periphery of the boss part 1a. The cancel piston 7 is provided with a flexible structure connecting part 7c of low rigidity for connecting the inside diameter side part and the outside diameter side part and is made to have a structure for allowing inclination of the outside diameter side part to the inside diameter side part by hydraulic load. Since stress due to deformation of the outside diameter side part in a compressing direction is absorbed by deformation of the connecting part and stress for deforming the inside diameter side part in an extending and opening direction is reduced, durability of the servo piston is improved.
