    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel lathe easily attaining automation without transferring a wheel accessory while hanging the wheel accessory by a crane even if a wheel has the accessory, and eliminating the need of attaching a caster.
      SOLUTION: The wheel lathe is provided with a chuck portion 3 chucking a wheel 2 to a rotatably provided main shaft 1, and equipped with a cutting machining device 4 cutting/machining the wheel 2 fixed to the main shaft 1 by the chuck portion 3 and rotated by rotations of the main shaft 1. A placing portion 6 for hoisting the wheel is provided at a wheel stop position of a transfer guide portion 5 rolling/transferring the wheel 2. A lifter device 7 is provided, which lift up the placing portion 6 to raise the wheel 2 till the height at which a wheel shaft position of the wheel 2 agrees with the main shaft 1 and the wheel 2 can be chucked by the chuck portion 3. A truck transfer guide portion 8 rolling/transferring a truck 9 in parallel with the transfer guide portion 5 of the wheel 2 is provided. The truck 9 is provided so as to be rolled/transferred along the truck transfer guide portion 8. The wheel lathe is structured so as to place the wheel accessory 10 such as a gear box that is rotatable in regard to the wheel 2 on the truck 9. When the wheel 2 is rolled/transferred along the transfer guide portion 5, the wheel accessory 10 is moved while being supported by the truck 9 rolling/transferring along the truck transfer guide portion 8.

The hollowing apparatus has a wire cutting device 12 provided in the cylindrical body 6, the wire cutting device being configured to move upward a locking part 10 for hanging and turning the wire, for hanging and turning the cutting wire 8 at the lower end of the cylindrical body 6 and bringing it into a retreated and maintained state to achieve a wire-free state, and also to provide cutting tension by applying a lifting tension to the cutting wire 8 pulled upward and disposed using a tensioning device 9 provided on the upper part of the cylindrical body 6 through a locking part 11 for lifting the wire.
