    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure for a rotating shaft capable of certainly and easily supporting with a simple structure, and a power transmission device. SOLUTION: The support structure of the rotating shaft comprises a bearing 11 and a support member 12. The support member 12 has a projection 22 projecting from an inner wall surface 21a of the support member 12 so that one end in an axial direction of the bearing 11 is brought in contact with, and a facing section 24 having an opposed surface 24d facing the other end in an axial direction of the bearing 11. A pressing means 13 is provided for pressing the bearing 11 in the axial direction of a first drive shaft 2 so that the bearing 11 is brought in contact with the projection 22. The pressing means 13 has a tapered screw hole 17c formed in a direction almost perpendicular to the axial direction of the first drive shaft 2, and contains a pressing member 17 interposed between the other end in the axial direction of the bearing 11 and the facing section 24, and a tapered screw 19 pressed in the taper screw hole 17c.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device for a vehicle capable of preventing reduction of durability. SOLUTION: The power transmission device for the vehicle includes a radial displacement suppression member 34 which is a circular ring plate-like member provided on a drive side connection shaft 12 such that a predetermined radial clearance e is formed between a shaft support member 28 and the drive side connection shaft 12, and suppresses radial relative displacement of the shaft support member 28 and the drive side connection shaft 12 by making an inner peripheral surface 36 and an outer peripheral surface 38 opposed to each other across the clearance e at elastic deformation of an elastic body 26c contact with each other. Therefore, since the relative displacement is restricted before the elastic member 26 is deformed so as to exceed an elastic deformation allowance range, the elastic member 26 is not deformed so as to exceed the elastic deformation allowance range and reduction of durability of the elastic member 26 can be prevented. Further, the radial displacement suppression member 34 also functions as a dust cover for suppressing intrusion of a foreign matter from the outside, and durability of the elastic member 26 is further enhanced.
