摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide trolling control device and method for achieving a more comfortable driving operation. SOLUTION: This trolling control device 1 includes connection and interruption means 4 and 5 for connecting an output shaft 3 and a propulsion shaft 6 of a main engine 2 based on supply of control hydraulic pressure and interrupting the output shaft 3 and the propulsion shaft 6 based on discharge of the control hydraulic pressure, a selection means 8 for selecting the connection or interruption of the connection and interruption means 4 and 5 by supplying the control hydraulic pressure to the connection and interruption means 4 and 5 or discharging the control hydraulic pressure from the connection and interruption means 4 and 5, a hydraulic pressure control means 9 for generating the control hydraulic pressure based on a current command value, and a control means 10 for controlling the current command value. The control means 10 raises the current command value stepwise when starting a control and linearly lowers the current command value during a pressure reduction period after the raising.
