    • PURPOSE: To collect a platinum metal with a high yield by dissolving and extracting a waste catalyst using the platinum metal, by a strong acid, adding an excessive iron powder to said catalyst, executing simultaneously hydrogen reduction and cementation, precipitating the platinum metal, and thereafter, adsorbing and removing the excessive iron powder by a magnetic separating machine.
      CONSTITUTION: A used waste catalyst of a Pt precious metal catalyst of Pt, Pd, etc. carried by a carrier of alumina, silica, etc. is treated by a strong acid water solution of ≥60°C of HCl=1.0N, HNO
      3 >0.2N, in a state that it remains uncrashed, and Pt, Pd, etc. are dissolved and extracted. An excessive iron powder is added to an extracted liquid separated from the carrier, a reducing reaction of an H
      2 gas and a cementation are executed simultaneously within a range of -50mVW250mV of the reducing potential, and Pt and Pd dissolved in the acid liquid are precipitated with a yield of ≥95% in a short time. The excessive iron powder mixed to Pt and Pd precipitated in the end is adsorbed and separated by a magnetic separating machine, and Pt and Pd are collected with a high yield.

    • PURPOSE:To maintain the specified outflow rate of a molten metal by evacuating the inside of a ladle when the height of the molten metal in the ladle is higher than a reference height and pressurizing the same when the height is lower than the reference height. CONSTITUTION:The optional height of the molten metal in the ladle is determined as the reference height and the height of the molten metal in the ladle during outflow is detected. The detected height and the reference height are compared and the molten metal is evacuated until both heights are made equal when the detected height is larger than the reference height. The molten metal is pressurized in the opposite case so that always specified outflow is executed. The degassing in the molten metal is executed by the evacuation.

    • PURPOSE:To heat water and increase the temperature thereof to supply hot-water by a method wherein cold water is circulated between a heat accumulating tank and a heat collector by an automatic water feeding device. CONSTITUTION:The cold water, flowed out of the opening of a water feeding pipe 20 by the operation of a foot valve 21 by a predetermined amount, overflows from the lower notched opening 19 of a hollow column body 18 and enters into the heat collecting pipes 6, 6... through a circulating pipe 10 and a connecting pipe 7, thereafter, heat exchange between a heat accumulating body or asphalt 4 is effected and the water flows into the heat accumulating tank 13 through the connecting pipe 8 and the circulating pipe 11 under being heated. The heat accumulating body or the asphalt 4 receives not only the solar heat direction on the surface thereof but also the reflected solar heat by a reflecting plate 14, capable of changing the angle of inclination thereof and installed in the device to increase the amount of collected heat and whereby the heat collecting efficiency of the device may be improved remarkably in winter especially. The water, thus heated, enters into the heat accumulating tank 15 through the connecting pipe 8 and the circulating pipe 11 and returns into the heat collector 9 again, thus the temperature thereof is increased under repeating circulation while hot-water may be supplied to necessary places through a hot-water supplying pipe 2 when it is used.
