    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurized molten metal discharging type ladle for transporting molten metal to which a pressurized gas can be surely introduced, and a method for discharging the molten metal. SOLUTION: The pressurized molten metal discharging type ladle for transporting the molten metal is provided with a ladle body for storing the molten metal, an upper lid for covering the upper end opening part of the ladle body, a working lid for openably/closably covering the opening part formed to a part of the upper lid, and a molten metal discharging part extended above the ladle body from the lower end part of the ladle body. The working lid 1 is provided with lid bodies 13a, 13b in an upwardly protruding shape for covering the opening part of the upper lid from the above, a gas introducing part 11 provided to the top faces of the lid bodies 13a, 13b, and a heat-resistant layer provided inside the lid bodies 13a, 13b. The heat-resistant layer is composed of a permeable refractory material layer 12. It is so constituted that a gas for pressurizing the inside of the ladle body is introduced to the inside of the ladle body via the permeable refractory material layer 12 from the gas introducing part 11. A heat-insulating material layer, which has a permeable heat-insulating material layer or a gas flowing part, may be included between the permeable refractory material layer 12 and the gas introducing part 11.
