    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the need of the focus of an earthquake in a well by allowing tomography measurement data between wells to be created only by a focus of an earthquake arranged on the surface of the ground.
      SOLUTION: This elastic wave tomography method is used for obtaining well-to-well tomography measurement data by receiving elastic waves propagating in the ground from an earthquake generating point in one well at multiple vibration reception points in other wells, and by recording vibration reception waveforms by changing the earthquake generating point. A plurality of focuses 10 of earthquakes are arranged on the surface 12 of the ground instead of the inside of the well 14; multiple vibration receivers 16 are installed in a plurality of wells; earthquakes are actually generated at different earthquake generating points on the surface of the ground by the focuses of the earthquakes, the elastic waves propagating in the ground are received by the multiple vibration receivers in the respective wells to record the vibration reception waveforms; and the vibration reception records in the respective vibration receivers are correlated to one another, whereby the position of the vibration receiver in one of the wells becomes a virtual focus of an earthquake, the vibration reception records of the elastic waves by the virtual focus of an earthquake are allowed to be synthesized in the other wells, and thereby pseudo well-to-well tomography measurement data are created.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate survey of an object without requiring excessive labor for installation of each acceleration detection unit, in a physical survey system for surveying the object by using a plurality of acceleration detection units.
      SOLUTION: In this physical survey system including the plurality of acceleration detection units, each acceleration detection unit includes: an acceleration detection part having at least a uniaxial acceleration detection axis, for detecting an acceleration along the acceleration detection axis; a geomagnetic detection part for detecting geomagnetism at a place where the object is surveyed by the physical survey system; and a correction part for setting a prescribed correction axis based on a direction of the geomagnetism detected by the geomagnetic detection part, and correcting an acceleration detected by the acceleration detection part following the prescribed correction axis. Thus, each acceleration corrected by each correction part is matched following each prescribed correction axis set by each correction part included in each acceleration detection unit.
