    • PURPOSE:To record and reproduce a signal through a single rotary switch and to simplify structure by bringing plural heads fitted to a rotary cylinder and a preamplifier under the optical switching control under the controller of a fixed part. CONSTITUTION:The rotary cylinder 10 is provided with the plural magnetic heads 12a-12n, a switching circuit 11 incorporating the preamplifier which is not shown in a figure, photodetecting elements 15a-15n connected to the switching circuit 11, and the rotor 13R of a rotary transformer 13. The control circuit 14 having light emitting elements 16a-16n controls the switching circuit 11 optically without contacting and also controls a changeover switch 17. During recording, an input signal 20 is amplified at a part 18 and the switch 17 is connected to the R to input the signal by the rotary transformer 13; and the controller 14 places the rotary cylinder 10 in a recording state through photocouplers 16 and 15. During reproduction, the rotary cylinder 10 is placed in a reproduction state and the outputs of the heads 12 are passed through the rotary transformer 13, amplified at a part 19, and outputted from a terminal 21. Consequently, only one rotary transformer is used and the structure is simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate noise of large amplitude at the time of changeover of reproducing track without causing disturbance of reproduced picture and deterioration of sound quality by using a reproducing track change signal and a synchronizing reproducing track change signal changing them at need. CONSTITUTION:Reproducing signals are taken out from a magnetic recording medium by a reproducing head 2 or 3 and inputted to a changeover switch circuit 6 through a preamplifier 4 or 5, respectively, and the reproducing track is changed by the circuit 6. When noise is generated in reproducing voice signals, a retriggerable monostable multivibrator 21 is activated to detect the dropout of signal 19, and a changing circuit consisting of AND circuits 22, 23 and an OR circuit 24 is controlled by the detection signal. When the signal 19 is in lacking state, a reproducing track changeover signal 16 is outputted. In other cases, a synchronized reproducing track changeover signal 25 synchronized to zero cross point of periodical noise obtained from the monostable multivibrator 15 and FF17 is outputted to control a holding signal generating circuit 27 and the circuit 6. Thus, noise at the time of reproducing track changeover is eliminated.

CONSTITUTION:The outputs of video heads 41A and 41B are applied to amplifying elements 47A and 47B through rotary transformers. When a switching signal 58 goes up to a high level, a transistor (TR)61 turns on, so a TR48A turns off, so that a TR44A turns on. The FET47A is so set that its amplifying function is stopped. On the other hand, a TR48B turns on and the FET47B performs amplifying operation. A TR44B turns off and a reproduced signal induced by the video head 41B is passed through the rotary transformer 42B and amplified by the FET 47B, whose output is led to an output terminal 56. When the switching singal goes down to a low level, the reverse operation is carried out.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the S/N ratio of a reproduced signal while managing with only one head amplifier by equipping switch elements in a rotary drum and by controlling it by an erasure signal. CONSTITUTION:During recording, an input signal is applied via a rotary transformer 6. An erasure signal is applied to an erasing head 5 through a rotary transformer 8 and also supplied to an erasure signal detecting circuit 17, and switch elements are placed at recording sides respectively by a signal from switch driving circuit 18. The said recorded signal is applied to a recording head 3. The output of a monitor head 4 is outputted by a rotary transformer 7 via the switch elements and a head amplifier 16 to monitor the recording operation. During reproduction, no erasure signal is applied and the switch elements are at reproduction sides, so that the output of the head 3 is outputted from the rotary transformer 7 via the switch element and head amplifier 16.
