    • PURPOSE:To attain the switching between a normal reproduction head and a still picture head by providing a switching transistor (TR) which controls the bias to the base of a TR of the first stage connected to the still picture reproduction head as well as another TR of the first stage connected to the normal reproduction head. CONSTITUTION:In a normal reproduction mode an H signal is applied to an input terminal 17. Thus both TRs Q5 and Q6 are turned on, and the DC voltage fed back by resistances R6 and R10 is applied to the base of a TRQ1 connected to a head 1. Thus the TRQ1 is turned on, and the reproduction signal is supplied to a following amplifier circuit. In a still picture reproduction, an L signal is applied to the terminal 17 to cut off both TRs Q5 and Q6 with a TRQ7 turned on. Therefore the TRs Q1 and Q2 are turned off and on respectively, and only the still picture reproducing signal is amplified. The normal or still picture signal reproduced by a head switch circuit 14 is switched for every field and extracted as a head amplifier output. Thus it is possible to switch heads with no variation of a resonance point nor a contact defect.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the switching noises of a rotary head type magnetic recording/reproducing device by using an LPF which secures synchronism between the joint position of a continuous reproduction signal and the non-sampling time of a sampling means and then filters the sampling signal. CONSTITUTION:A change from H to L is slightly delayed by a delay circuit 6 for the control signal S1 which connects a mobile contact 43 of a switching circuit 4 to a fixed contact 42 from another fixed contact 41. Thus a noise is produced at a time point t3 after a time point t2. Therefore the signal at the joint part between demodulated waveforms Sa and Sb synchronizes with the non- sampling time of a sampling means and is grounded. While in case a rotary head 12 is changed to another rotary head 11, a mobile contact 83 of a switching circuit 8 is first connected to the switching side of the head 11. Then a switching connection is carried out for the circuit 4, that is, the waveform Sa is joined to a demodulated waveform Sb. Thus the joint position synchronizes with the non- sampling time. Then the sampling signal of the sampled demodulated waveform is filtered by an LPF9 and extracted out of an output terminal t3. Thus it is possible to obtain a sound signal which is free from switching noises and has high fidelity to an original sound through the terminal t3.

    • PURPOSE:To detect exactly a jump point, by detecting from a pilot signal a fact that a reproducing head jumps a video track, in case of reproducing a magnetic tape in which the pilot signal is multi-recorded in each video track. CONSTITUTION:In a VTR, an FM-modulated luminance signal, a low band-converted chroma signal and a pilot signal are mixed and are recorded on a magnetic tape. A reproducing pilot signal led to an input terminal 10 is led to a frequency converter 12, and is subjected to frequency conversion with respect to pilot signals f1-f4 from a pilot signal generating circuit 8. It is switched to each channel in a selecting circuit 18 by a pulse synchronizing with switching of a head from an input terminal 11. Difference frequency of the reproducing pilot signal and a carrier signal among outputs of the converter 12 is provided to a differential amplifier 15 through tank circuits 13, 14 having tank frequencies fH, f3H, and by making an output of the amplifier 15 pass through a limiter 16, a signal for indicating a track jump point can be obtained in a terminal 17.

      CONSTITUTION: Suppose that a head switch signal goes to an H level, then a reproduced output is obtained from a main rotary head M1 and an auxiliary rotary head S1. Further, when the head switch signal goes to an L level, a reproduced output is obtained from a main rotary head M2 and an auxiliary rotary head S2. The switch 23 is changed over so as to compensate the reproduced output from the main rotary heads M1, M2 with that from the auxiliary rotary heads S1, S2 if the reproduced output of the heads M1, M2 is decreased. The skew generated when the main rotary heads M1, M2 and the auxiliary rotary heads S1, S2 are changed over is corrected at a skew correcting circuit 25.

To realize 0.5-time speed, a speed switching signal generator 10 receives a signal from a waveform processing circuit 20 to outut a normal indication signal shown in the figure (e) and a still indication signal shown in the figure (f). Since the main and auxiliary rotary heads are timely switched by the head switching signal (d), a reproduction envelope shown in the figure (b) at this moment does not lower, and a picture is in good state.

On the other hand, the pulse A is applied to a differentiation circuit 30 and applied to gates 28, 29 via an inverter. Gate pulses (h) and (i) are given to the gate circuits 28, 29 to form differentiation pulses (j) and (k). The pulses (j) and (k) are applied to a F/F32 to form head switching pulse (l). In case of slow playback mode, (m) is at high level, and the inversion (l) signal is applied to a selector switch 35 and the (l) signal is to the selector switch 38 respectively.
