    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components composing a ceiling interior member of a railroad vehicle body; to improve the working easiness of installing the interior member to a vehicle roof structure.
      SOLUTION: An interior member supporting/fixing part is integrally composed at a supporting position of a suspender provided in the longitudinal direction of the railroad vehicle body 10 on the both sides of an inner face of a roof body structure 13 of the body 10. A ceiling interior panel 2 provided with an air conditioning duct 25 and a blower chamber 27 is fixed to the interior member supporting/fixing part so as to be supported at three points by binding parts 30d, 30e having high strength formed at the both ends of the panel in the body width direction. The ceiling interior panel 2 is provided with a material having a high heat-insulating performance as core material between a pair of plate members, is made of material of nice-looking from the inside, and has enough bending strength to keep its form.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To closely form a joint surface in a close contact state following the surface shape and irregularities of a structure by laying a soft insulating material on an outermost layer and a heat insulating material of higher rigidity inside the soft insulating material. SOLUTION: A locally deformable soft insulating material 3 is attached to the interior surface of a structure 4 via an adhesive, so as to keep the whole surface of the material 3 in contact with the surface of the structure 4. Also, plate type heat insulating materials 3a, 2b and 2c divided into a plurality are arranged on the interior surface of the soft heat insulating material 3 via an adhesive, so as to be adjacent to one another. In this case, a material harder than the soft heat insulating material 3, but having a better function as a heat insulating material in terms of heat conductivity or the like is selected as the heat insulating material 2. Furthermore, the plate type heat insulating material 2 is attached to such an extent as partly deforming the soft heat insulating material 3, so as to come in contact therewith over entire surface. According to this construction, the composite heat insulating material 1 so formed can be laid on the surface of the structure 4, even when irregularities exist thereon.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize weight reduction, improvement of pressure resistance, and silencing of compartments, by constituting a structure of a stacked material, where surface material made of a light alloy, core material, and member for coupling are joined with one another by brazing, and a damping material which has heat insulation and arranging the damping material installed on the side of compartments capably of removal. SOLUTION: A structure is constituted of an underframe, a side structure, a roof structure, and an end structure. At the side structure, the side outer plate 6 is stacked material which comprises a surface material 7 made of light alloy, a core material 8, and a coupling material 8, and which is made by arranging surface materials 7 to both sides of the core material 8, and besides, arranging members 9 for coupling at the peripheral ends of the core material 8 both surface materials 7 and between both the surface materials 7, and joining these by brazing. For the core material 8, a honeycomb material made of light alloy is used. A damping material 10 which has heat insulating effect is joined to the side of compartments of the side outer plate 6 capable of partial removal. The joining of the damping material 10 and the side outer plate 6 is performed using an adhesive 11 excluding the section 10a capable of removal. As a result, the weight reduction, improvement of pressure resistance, and silencing of compartments can be materialized.
