SOLUTION: In a method for bonding dissimilar materials, energy is given to one material 2 by using a probe 1 rotating at high speed, the material 2 is softened by the friction heat and plastically fluidized, and the material 2 is filled into a recess 4 formed in the other material 3 in advance by pushing or moving the probe, and thus the dissimilar materials are bonded to each other. Since only the material 2 is plastically fluidized, but the material 3 is not plastically fluidized, the materials 2 and 3 are not mixed with each other, and production of any intermetallic compound on the bonded interface can be suppressed. SOLUTION: An electric blower to be built in an electric vacuum cleaner has a front surface plate 402, a rear surface plate 405 and plural spiral blades 403 arranged between both the plates 402, 405, and they are made of aluminum alloy. In this case, each plate 402, 405 is previously formed with a brazing metal layer 406, and the plates 402, 405 formed with the brazing metal layer 406 are arranged concentrically opposite to each other. Each blade 403 is fixed between them by a jig, and while a small pressure is applied to them, and the whole is heated at a desirable temperature equal to the melting starting temperature or less for a desirable time so as to integrally bond the three members of the plates 402, 403 and the blades 405 with brazing using the brazing metal layer 406 as a brazing material.

SOLUTION: The magnetic tape is wound around the outer peripheral part of the head cylinder consisting of the rotating cylinder and the fixed cylinder, and magnetic recording the play-back are executed through a magnetic head fitted to the rotating cylinder. In this magnetic recording and play-back device, at least one side of the above cylinders is made of the Mg base alloy containing >11 wt.% Mg desirably >=50%, further desirably >=80%, with inevitable impurities. Further, it is desirable to prevent the oxidation, corrosion, wear, etc., on the surface by applying a chemical conversion treatment, anode oxidizing treatment, nitriding treatment, etc., on the sliding surface of this head cylinder with the tape. Thus, the lightweight head cylinder is obtd. and is made small, light and saving electric power consumption in driving source.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve crossion resistance and hydrogen absorption characteristics by composing at least one of a cladding tube for nuclear fuel, a spacer for a nuclear fuel assembly and a channel box for a nuclear fuel assembly of an alloy made of specific materials in specific proportions. SOLUTION: In a fuel assembly for a nuclear reactor, at least one of a cladding tube, a spacer and a channel box is made of an alloy of the following composition in weight percentage. The alloy contains tin of about 1.20 to 2%, iron of about 0.20 to 0.5%, chromium of about 0.05 to 0.15% and nickel of about 0.03% to 0.16%, with the rest constituted materially of zirconium. These metal elements constitute a zirconium-group alloy where the proportion of iron to nickel is about 1.4 to 10. After hot plastic working, this alloy is heated and maintained for a short time in a β phase or a temperature range containing α and β phases and then is rapidly cooled before cold working. Subsequently, cool plastic working and anneal working are repeated alternately and shaping work is done by forming a thin-wall material made of a zirconium-group alloy. This makes it possible to obtain an alloy which is excellent in corrosion resistance and absorbs little hydrogen and enables the higher burn-up of fuel.

An electrochemical reference electrode used in this system being provided with an electrolyte layer (23) containing ion of the electrode member; a porous ceramic layer (22) surrounding the same without permeating liquid; and electrode member (26) electrochemically contacting with said elec-trolyte layer (23) ; and a terminal (31) electrically contacting with said electrode member; and further having a long life in high temperature water, various status of high temperature water in objective portions and that of nearby constituent members in a plant are possible to be monitored online by means of this reference electrode. Further, because monitored data are processed by means of a neural network, the higher precision level of monitoring has been achieved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a sticking amount of cobalt in piping by previously sticking iron or an iron oxide on the surface of a fuel cladding pipe. SOLUTION: Water vapor exhausted from a turbine 1 of a plant using a fuel cladding pipe coated with iron is condensed to water with a condenser 2, condensed water is sent with a condensate pump 3 to a condensate filter 4, a condensate demineralizer 5 to remove impurities. Purified water passes through a feed water pump 6, a low pressure feed water heater 7, a pressure rising pump 8, a high pressure feed water heater 9, and introduced in a simulation fuel loaded pressure container 10. Clad mainly comprising iron which is a corrosion product produced mainly in the heater 9 and the container 10 and an ion of metal such as nickel are contained in light water. Although part of these is removed in a reactor purifying system 12, most of them exist in light water and on the surface of a fuel rod attached. On operation, when boiling is generated on the surface of the fuel rod, KOH is leaked from the reactor purifying system 12 and pH is controlled to 7-8. Clad in light water strongly sticks on the surface of the fuel rod, increase in radioactivity of water is retarded.
