    • PURPOSE:To reduce or prevent lateral flow of electric charges between picture elements of a photo conductive film, prevent deterioration of the picture quality, and improve the resolution, by forming the 3rd electrode between each 1st electrode of the titled solid-state image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:A thin SiO2 film is formed on a semiconductor substrate 11 and a Si3O4 film is formed on a prescribed location of the film, and then, a SiO2 layer 8 is formed by locally oxidizing silicon in a prescribed atmosphere. Then, a gate 12 and impurity diffusing layers 9 and 16 are formed from polysilicone and a SiO2 film is formed on them. Moreover, an electrode 10-1 is formed to the layer 16 in this film and a lower electrode 13 is formed on the layer 9, and, at the same time, an electrode 7 which passes light is also formed. A new electrode 17 is formed between the lower electrodes 13 in a photo conductive film 5' on the layer 8, and a voltage V'TAU having a prescribed relationship with a voltage VTAU to be applied upon the electrode 7 is applied upon the electrode 17. Thus the lateral flow of electric charges between picture elements of the film 5' is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the number of devices that can be connected to a room controller and also to simplify the operation of a remote controller by irradiating a directive signal beam to a desired device to be operated from a remote control terminal for selection of the device. CONSTITUTION:A visible light beam is radiated from a visible light beam radiator 12 and also a signal beam is radiated from a radiator 11. The radiating position of the signal beam is confirmed by the visible light beam. A signal is outputted from a controller 9 with push of a designated switch, and the terminal code produced by an item code output means 14 is radiated from the radiator 11. The controller 9 which received the signal beam stores temporarily the terminal code and also transmits the first non-directions signal through a room controller. This non-directional signal is received by a 1st receiver 21 through a remote control terminal and then displayed on an item display device 23 via a display control means 22. Thus an operator confirms the display of the device 23 and then pushes a confirmation switch.
